Finally made in town to try Matcha Magic and was extremely impressed with the quality of matcha, cleanliness, and knowledge of the employees who helped me. I wasn’t sure what to get and they recommended a few options and tweaked them for based on my dietary restrictions/ preferences. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back. I wish I could have Matcha Magic daily.

Literally hated matcha, but decided to give them a try & loved it. Ordered the purple rain: matcha +ube = delicious. Definitely look forward to trying other flavors as well as those açaí bowls Update: went for the smoothie bowl: half coconut half passion fruit. Don’t really taste a coconut flavor. & I don’t think it’s worth the price. Playa bowls can top this. Also Could’ve been better presented

This weekend I stopped by Matcha Magic on Tulane, and from the moment I walked in, the atmosphere set the tone. The space is super cute, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly balanced. It feels festive and cozy for the holidays without losing the original intention and aesthetic of the shop. Nothing felt overdone, just warm, intentional, and inviting. One of my favorite details was the abundance of windows and natural light. The sunlight pours in and gives the space an airy, calming energy that makes you want to sit, sip, and actually be there instead of rushing out with your drink. Now let’s talk about the star of the show, the Matchamellow. Hands down, this is the best matcha I’ve ever had. Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced, not bitter, not overly sweet, just right. And the roasted vegan marshmallow on top was absolutely unreal. The perfect little treat that elevated the entire drink. I genuinely wish I had ordered more on the side because they were that good. Matcha Magic didn’t just meet expectations, it exceeded them. From the vibe to the flavor to the thoughtful details, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re a matcha lover or even matcha curious, this spot is a must.

5 star wonderful experience! Beautiful staff with STELLAR service and the ambiance to match. Owner Logan greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. The matcha speaks for itself. Best I've ever had. I'd love to see them remain around for years to come.
