Witches Brew Coffee Co
2940 Canal St, New Orleans, LA
Crema's Take
“Tucked away on a side street in New Orleans, Witches Brew Coffee Co casts a spell with its dark, botanical aesthetic and genuinely excellent signature drinks like their lavender-forward Witches Bloom latte and standout matcha. Beyond the coffee, this spot wins hearts with creative specialty beverages for non-coffee drinkers, house-made pastries, and a laid-back vibe that's equally welcoming whether you're lingering with a laptop or catching up with friends in their cozy outdoor seating. It's the kind of quirky local gem that feels like a secret worth keeping—but the 4.9-star reviews suggest plenty of people have already discovered its magic.”
What to expect
Strong matcha and tea selection, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Pastries and light food on the menu.

Witches Brew Coffee Co feels like stepping into a cozy little spell book tucked away in New Orleans. The vibe is dark, quirky, and a little mystical — without trying too hard. I loved how the décor leans into the witchy theme while still feeling warm and welcoming rather than…
Quality latte, worth the visit. Entrance was kind of confusing, not on the Main Street there is a door on the side. Chill ambiance and the decorations definitely give the witchy vibe. It’s a little bright for a true witchy vibe but hey it’s a coffee shop I think most people want…
A great little place with amazing vibes! The food and drinks are fantastic. As a non-coffee drinker, the variety of drinks and teas they offer are incredible. This is also a great study spot and the staff were extremely helpful when I was having WiFi issues. Love this new place!
Vibe & decor are immaculate - witchy and botanical! 🐈⬛ The Witches Bloom latte was excellent - strong lavender flavor, which I love. Can't wait to try the other signature drinks. Such a cool local addition to Mid City! I also had a slice of their Blackberry Lavender cake -…
So excited about this new spot! Their matcha is so good (and I feel like it’s sometimes hard to find good matcha!) and their baked goods are absolutely delicious (I tried a blueberry scone and a raspberry sweet roll). And it’s also just a really inviting and cozy atmosphere!
