602 Coffee & Acai

Recently I finally checked out a café that had been on my list for a while: 602 Coffee & Acai. They have two locations in Huntington Beach (PCH and Goldenwest) and another one in Costa Mesa. I visited the Goldenwest Street location in Huntington Beach. The shop itself is small, but the space feels really cozy and relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you can easily sit down for a bit and enjoy a quiet coffee break. The staff member working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. I tried several of their fresh breads along with a banana acai bowl. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, especially the acai bowl which was nicely balanced and refreshing. The breads were soft and flavorful, perfect to go with a cup of coffee. They also have a weekday happy hour from Monday to Thursday after 12 PM, with 15% off drinks, smoothies, and bagels. Definitely a nice little neighborhood café if you’re around Huntington Beach and looking for a relaxed spot to grab coffee or a light bite.

I ordered a large latte (12oz) during happy hour and it was only $4.89!!!! Happy hour is 15% off, Monday thru Thursday, after 12pm, and applies to only coffee, smoothies and bagels. Ordered a few pastries as well and they were fresh and delish!!! Lola helped us and she was the sweetest person ever!!! We were the only ones there. The lobby contained 2 tables, 1 counter, a bench , and plenty of patio seating outside. They also had good tunes playing.

The staff here is always so kind, attentive, and willing to make modifications! The bananas foster cold brew and coconut caramel latte are my favorites! The atmosphere is so friendly as well! One of my favorite stops for coffee ❤️

A great place because of portion sizes and food quality. One of the best breakfast bagles and coffee I had in a long time. Acai bowl was great because they offer a mini option. Shop is tiny and compact, so not much of a sit down spot, but the owners did a great job with ambience.

I've been looking for a nice to place to sit and work while I drink coffee, and this was not it. The store was very small, and the two tables only accommodate up to 2 people. However, I have to say, the chai I had was probably the best I've ever had! It was so good I had to get seconds, and the price was really good, I paid about $5 for my large chai. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and worked very fast. I would definitely recommend this place if you don't plan on sitting in for a while!
