Omelette Cafe

I’ve been to this location many times and never had an issue until today. My friends and I came for brunch, and I decided to try something new from the menu. After just a couple of bites, I realized I didn’t care for the texture of the chicken — it completely ruined my appetite, and I didn’t touch the rest of the plate. When I politely mentioned this to the waitress, she immediately got defensive and dismissed my concern, saying that someone else at my table ordered chicken and theirs was fine. When the bill came, I was still charged full price for the meal. I brought it up again, and she repeated that there was nothing wrong with the food. I even pointed out that half the sandwich was untouched and offered for her to check it herself. She then adjusted the bill by charging me separately for the individual items (bacon, cheese, drink, fries, and French toast), which made no sense since I didn’t eat the main dish. When I told her I wasn’t paying for something I didn’t eat, she went to the counter and loudly told the staff that I was just trying to get a free meal. The entire situation was handled very poorly. The server was rude, dismissive, and argumentative — a real disappointment considering how much I’ve enjoyed this place in the past.

When I say this was the BEST find in Savannah! The food was super fresh and absolutely delicious! Our waitress was an absolute doll and super helpful with picking the perfect meals! Definitely recommend this place for a good lunch or breakfast!

There are other locations and havent tried them but this one was not nice. It was seat yourself and fast service but the place is on the dirty side. It was a chilly day and it was cold inside. You can see the kitchen which looked okay but the floors were dirty and the bathrooms nasty. Smelly, dirty and sticky floors. The ceiling tiles in the place are dirty, stained and disgusting. The food is okay nothing to go out of your way for. The positive is fast service and decent prices on the food. Would I go back to this location? Nope.

OMG! This place is now my new favorite breakfast place to eat!!! Our waitress was so kind and attentive. When we prayed over our meal, we asked her if she’d like prayer too and she said yes. Praise God! This restaurant has every breakfast item on the menu that you can think of! They even have corn beef hash 😋Yummy good food! I’ll definitely be back! 🫶🏾😋👍🏾

We read the reviews and decided to check this place out for breakfast. Umm..hmmmm, it was so good and the service was great too. I had the fried fish and grits. Let me tell you it was cooked and served just the way that I requested it. We had the best waitress and she was very attentive. We will definitely be returning back real soon for the customer service and the good food!!
