Great coffee tour, learned about the growing, processing and roasting of local Kona coffee beans. Great tour guide, Ben shown here in my photos, made it a fun & an educational experience! We sampled various coffees, and explored the farm along with exotic plants and fruits grown throughout the property. Cute gift shop at the end, check it out!
We went on the one hour farm tour with a great guide earlier this week. He told us so many interesting things about the farm, and how they grow, roast and test their coffee beans. We were able to taste test 5 different types of coffees, overlooking the pretty valleys and hills of coffee plants. They have a great gift shop with coffee and other things for sale. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Did the tour. Had an amazing educational experience. Beautiful views. Great coffee. Really made me love the beauty of the island even more. Our young tour guide was funny and very down to earth and personable.
What an amazing experience!! We learned so much about coffee plants and the processing. We had a group of 5 engineers and scientists and Tour Guide Rick customized our his remarks and our tour to address all our questions. We did not feel rushed at all. It was clear that he - and all the staff - have passion for sustainable and quality coffee and pride in their product. I highly recommend this tour and will come back again next year!! It was great to be outside - scenic views of the water and a great variety of plants and flowers (including orchids!) and butterflies. Free coffee samples of multiple varieties. I have done one other coffee farm tour a few years ago, and this one was levels above. A great experience and value.
Did the last coffee farm tour of the day on Saturday January 3rd and it was a beautiful experience!! Incredible coffee, scenery, staff, and farm animals! Not overcrowded either, we bought tickets an hour before our reservation time. Thank you to Owen our amazing tour guide who was so knowledgeable & passionate about the farm and process of coffee agriculture, and for advocating for proper working conditions for the farmers🙏 We appreciated the genuine and wholesome atmosphere here so much and would recommend to all :)
