Crema's Take

This beloved Medford neighborhood spot has earned loyal regulars with its generous breakfast sandwiches and reliable coffee, though recent visits suggest the quality has been a bit uneven. The spacious location with ample parking makes it an easy meet-up spot, and when they get it right—particularly with their customizable breakfast builds—it genuinely shines. While it's trying to offer more than just coffee, it works best as a casual, unpretentious place to grab a solid sandwich and catch up with friends rather than a destination for precision espresso work.

I have been a regular here for while and while I love the food and coffee, there has been one issue that is keeping me from coming back. The ceiling tiles above the food station look very unclean, disgusting even. I cannot see myself coming back while the ceiling is in such a state, as I am worry about what will have fallen into my food. Am I the only one seeing this? Please clean the ceiling as I love this place!

I have loved Jitter’s for years, but recently the lattes haven’t been very good like they once were. I ordered a latte with whole milk… there was way too much milk - I don’t even taste the coffee or the added flavor. This has been the case three times now. Love the breakfast sandwiches, but I’ll be going elsewhere for my latte :(

This place is trying too hard to be Panera, after this experience I would’ve rather drove the extra distance to go there instead. Food is mid, but the prices are the same as Panera for some reason. Ordered a chicken pesto sandwich which doesn’t come with onions, so I specifically asked if they could add them, and they told me yes, they can add it on… which they never did, and I’m guessing they still charged me for adding them too. After about 15-20 minutes of waiting (and getting chocolate on my sleeve from the dirty counter that wasn’t cleaned) I finally got my sandwich and decided to get a coffee too, which also was mid. Again could find better elsewhere, and for cheaper, at that point just go to Dunks or Panera, don’t bother coming here… Where are my onions?

I found this place by walking up from my sister's house. I just thought it was a regular coffee shop with some sandwiches as a side hustle. I was wrong. This was one of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted. Stunning. Every ingredient was fresh and tasty. It was a simple ham and cheese sandwich but it was stunning. I will most definitely be back again

Great location and plenty of parking. Highly recommend the build your own breakfast sandwiches, which were really good. I enjoyed a latte. We were ordering coffee for some friends and the staff were really helpful at helping us interpret what to order. There are shared bathrooms in the building down the hallway. My only comment for improvement would be the ceiling vents are visibly dirty and ceiling tiles around it are dirty.
