Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting

Hands down, the best coffee I've ever had! Friendly baristas and comfortable atmosphere. Great downtown location makes for easy transit to local shops with my latte in tow. Even my mom likes this place, and she is very particular about her coffee.

Great place, great service. Sad reality tho is that due to all the flies that frequent the baked good section, that image is forever burned into my memory. Forced error and its a bummer because I really like everything else about this place. Havent seen any flies the past few times so lets update this to 5-star

Still the best coffee in Santa Cruz. Steve's French, Santa Cruz Dark, both my selections of choice. I've been coming here for decades, and even though I have since swapped coasts, every time I come home, I make it a point to stop by.

Had the happy hour 10ounce carmel current coffee, for $2 each! And they were very good. Service was fast and friendly.

Very good coffee stop with plenty of good staff along with a pretty good crowd of nice people. The big thing for me was that they are 100% dog friendly inside and outside of the shop seating. This coffee shop is very clean and maintained with more than enough selections of coffee, teas, in every drink in between. If you are truly a coffee lover and love to brew your own coffee at home you came to the right place because they offer every type of roast you can think of along with a few that you have not. I really enjoy stopping here when we are in Santa Cruz because it's centrally located and if you choose to enjoy your beverage outside you will have plenty of people watching as the day goes by. This is truly a coffee shop that is well worth the visit and if you want something sweet or savory to go along with your beverage they have you covered. Pro tip Don't be afraid to ask the servers on what type of coffee that might be best for you because you will most likely end up finding a roast that you would fall in love with that you've never tried before.
