Crema's Take

I need to respectfully point out that El Barrio Tapas Joint appears to be a Spanish tapas restaurant, not a coffee shop. Crema is a specialty coffee discovery app, so this venue wouldn't typically be featured in our platform. If you'd like me to write a summary anyway for practice, or if you meant to share a different coffee-focused establishment, I'm happy to help!

Their Paella Classica is definitely their signature dish, but honestly, it's just not really my thing. The other dishes, however, are all perfectly fine. The only downside is that they are a bit overpriced.

The service and environment was very good. But the food was not that good. Bruschetta was amazing and the only one worth it that night. I loved dipping the black truffle sauce with bread. Maybe because the cooking was inconsistent, Gambas sl ajillo was too salty and completely inedible. Besides Paella was terrible too. The rice was cooked before. The chicken was too much. And the vegetables, seafood and rice are cooked separately and don't mix together at all.

Went here with my girlfriend for my bday dinner and it was seriously one of the best dinners of my entire life! We also got a few other tapas I didn't get pics of but bruschetta was incredible! This place leaves you flooded with dopamine and love for quality food. Shoutout to Breena for being an incredible server as well! Thanks again 🙏❤️

Try everything, you will not be disappointed! Not the fastest service but good things come to those who wait. Steak is delicious, try it. Chocolate & Coffee Ganache, give me more please. In the future episode of my 500 lbs live, I will mention this restaurant as the tipping point.

A spanish tapas style retaurant located in the heart of downtown Santa Fe. Every dish was excpetional, and the wine choices were fabulous. The service was flawless, attentive and genuine, prompt and knowlegeable. The wine service was performed perfectly. Food quality was what I would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant in Madrid. Overall a delight. I would absolutely return to this restaurant. The tradition paella and the seared yellowtail tapa were standouts.
