Crema's Take
“Exchange Street Cafe is a neighborhood gem that brings Polish and European flavors into classic American comfort food, from their legendary fresh-roasted turkey subs to crispy fried pierogis that locals have been hunting for. The generous portions, house-made bread, and genuinely warm service from owner Andy and the team create the kind of place where you feel like a regular from your first visit, whether you're grabbing a quick breakfast or settling in for a full meal with the family.”

New to the area and saw good reviews so stopped by for a sandwich. The reviews said the turkey sub was great (fresh roasted turkey) so went for that, and it was awesome (add bacon for super awesome). Went back again for the Italian sub and again it was awesome. A large sub can make 2-3 servings, totally full after a half of a large sub. I got the potato salad as a side and it was also delicious. I’ll keep going back to try other items on the menu. Great small place with great food.
The salad tastes great nice people that work there
Here I was thinking there weren't any pierogis available anywhere in RI, and then I finally found these guys! AWESOME fried pierogi lunch with delicious bacon, onions, and sour cream to top it off. Incredibly fair price, especially since it also comes with a salad. Really nice guys behind the counter too. Talk about a hidden gem! Check it out!
Our family arrived on a whim. We were late for breakfast and had to settle for lunch. Lunch is amazing, sandwiches are made with delicious bread, amount of meat and the "small" portions are enough for two. We had the cheese burger, the egg salad sandwich, and the ham and cheese. Definitely appreciate the friendly hospitality as well.
The server, Dave and owner, Andy were delightful and catering! They serve American breakfast with a Polish/European twist and it was definitely one of the best breakfast spots I’ve visited. My partner ordered a bacon egg and cheese sub. The French fries were delicious! I had 2 eggs, sausage and home fries with a piece of wheat toast. The French toast was phenomenal! In total we spent $40 which is well worth it. We also tried their chocolate chip cookies, they were fresh and had a home baked taste to it. Best breakfast in Pawtucket hands-down
