Cafe Hagen

Crema's Take
“Café Hagen is an espresso-focused neighborhood gem where the Kobenhavn Latte and creative paninis like their Urban pesto version steal the show, backed by a rotating selection of fresh-baked pastries and a cozy, people-watching atmosphere that feels equally suited for a solo work session or catching up with friends. The kitchen takes real care with their food offerings—reviewers rave about their croissants and baked goods in particular—while the baristas work with genuine warmth and speed to keep the vibe active and welcoming without feeling rushed.”

This is a review targeted towards their new panini offerings and I am only leaving it because of my two experiences with the new Urban pesto panini they offer. I am not sure if it was the same cook, but the first one was ever so lightly toasted, with faint press marks. And then today I get another, because the ingredients are good together and I was hopeful it was just a fluke. I get home and see that my panini is more like a slightly warmed up sandwich that sat next to the panini press for 5 seconds. See pic for proof. Again, the ingredients are tasty and i ate it, but I ordered a panini, not a crumble apart soft bread sandwich. Just google image search for panini. That’s what it should look like. If there’s not enough time for a proper press with all the customers, don’t offer it! -a concerned panini enthusiast
I had the Kobenhavn Latte it was amazing. Customer service e was fast and friendly. The atmosphere is active and pleasant. Huge assortment of pastries and bites. I could not decide so I got a wide variety to go. Each and every one was wonderful.
Lovely café with a cozy vibe and great baked goods — everything looks and tastes fresh. Their coffee is rich and smooth, definitely worth stopping by. Perfect spot to relax, chat, or even sing a little if anyone’s listening outside!
This Cro-Muffin-something is mind-blowing GOOD! Food was awesome! Coffee was aeh…okay (to light the roasting). And I don‘t like Self-service, but hey, Food was great!!
Cozy, cute corner coffee shop. Great for people watching or meeting up with friends. Prices for coffee and food were higher than expected but maybe that’s Seattle. One of us liked the cappuccino and the other one did not. The vegetarian egg skillet was the tastiest item we purchased for breakfast when compared to the croissant and quiche. We’d gladly buy that again!
