Jones Coffee Hut
680 S Arroyo Pkwy, Pasadena, CA
Crema's Take
“This Pasadena drive-thru gem serves genuinely excellent coffee that keeps regulars coming back, with a seasonal Pumpkin Spice that outshines the big chains. The experience here hinges entirely on who's behind the counter—you might encounter warm, vibrant energy that makes your visit special, or a more indifferent interaction, so it's a bit of a gamble. Skip the pastries and stick to what they do best: quality specialty and traditional drinks from a cute little spot that's worth driving out of your way for.”

First time here..... not welcoming at all! No good morning, how are you doing. NOTHING! Placed the order, paid and she just turned around and didn't say anything to me. it's my first time ordering a drink from there so l am clueless of what I'm selecting. They gave me a drink and I kindly asked to add milk last minute. I think if you want to add things to your drink last minute or if it doesn't look right I'm going to let the staff know to fix it. I'm not paying for something that I AM NOT GOING TO ENJOY! | asked to add milk, staff is whispering, looking at us weird! And i over heard a staff say " it's Friday people don't want to mess with me, not today not today". SOOO UNCOMFORTABLE! if your job is a barista I think you should be a morning and a people person. Not have people feel uncomfortable first thing in the morning. 0/10 would never ever come back here again!!!
I always go to this jones probably 1-2x per week. Great coffee. What made me want to leave a review is the woman taking my order. She was so kind! She had such a vibrant energy!! I wish I would have asked her name so I could tell her thank you here. She was wearing a pink beanie working the window. It’s so nice to have such warm service nowadays! Thanks for making morning brighter!
I came across this place by accident. I had pulled over to park on the street and saw this place in my mirror and thought it looked cute. And, I was blown away by how good my coffee and drink was. We got a basic black coffee (which was super rich, bold and smooth), and a Chai latte with add shots. The chai latte was the best chai latte I have ever had. It was so good. If you love rich, flavorful coffee, this place is worth a try! It was SO good! (I don't think they offer food, I didn't see anything when I was there.)
Tried the croissant so you don’t have to. Dry, dense, and weirdly bland—tasted like it had been sitting out all day. No flake, no butter, no thanks. Stick to The Croissant Factory if you actually want to enjoy your pastry.
Been here a few times, even driving out of my way to do so. It’s a cute little drive through coffee stand. Enjoy the coffee (their Pumpkin Spice > Starbucks). The staff I believe could be more lively and welcoming, but they’re not rude. I went to show my partner this place and he ordered an Americano and he wanted it hot, but then he got iced. He felt too bad to say anything so we drove off. So that was a bummer impression, but c'est la vie.
