Crema's Take

Tucked into the Granary in Steamboat Springs, Wild Goose Coffee nails that rare combination of serious espresso craft and genuine hospitality, with a owner who makes everyone feel like a welcomed regular. The beautiful, artful space is equally suited for settling in with your laptop while you wait for a flight or lingering over one of their standout pastries—think peach tarts and apple cinnamon scones that rival the coffee itself—making it the kind of place where you actually want to stay a while.

Love the location because I can work from here while I wait for the family to land at the airport. I had the apple cinnamon scone, and it was incredible! Extremely friendly staff, great vibes. Highly recommend coming in whether you have 5 minutes or longer!

The coffee was perfect and I ordered the quiche and my husband ordered the breakfast burrito and we shared a berry strudel. The owner is a sweet friendly lady who gave us her utmost attention. I highly recommend this place especially if you're about to hop on a plane early in the am!☺️

Outstanding coffee and one of the very best peach tarts that I have every eaten. This beautiful coffee shop in the Granary is definitely worth the stop. Relax and enjoy the artful space or get a grab and go to fuel your travels.

Unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of drinking coffee here, and now that I didn't, I regret it. I came here with a couple of friends on an empty stomach. We were all starving and there weren't many places around in Hayden. We looked this place up and it looked quite peculiar. The food here is very limited so we ordered the only burrito they offered which was an egg, sausage, cheese burrito for about $6. Since I was already at my "two cup a day" coffee max, I also opted for an orange juice instead of a coffee. I was very surprised when I received my orange juice in a can. The burrito you could tell was fresh and homemade. I probably could have ate two or three of those bad boys. They weren't super filling, but they were enough to satisfy the appetite. I can't say the same for the orange juice. It was sour in my opinion. I was expecting freshly squeezed OJ, lol. Thank you for the wonderful service to the staff. They were very welcoming and working hard to keep the place in tip top shape for their customers. They have merchandise you can purchase, coffee, smoothies, iced drinks and an antique store in the back. The place is spotless and they offer games and toys for the kids to entertain themselves there. Looking forward to my next visit.
