A La Mousse
145 N 11th St, Philadelphia, PA
Crema's Take
“A La Mousse is a charming Philadelphia café that's earned its reputation as a destination for visually stunning desserts and thoughtfully crafted coffee drinks, with specialties like mango mousse and rich chocolate cakes that feel more like edible art than afterthoughts. The intimate space strikes that perfect balance between cozy gathering spot and Instagram-worthy retreat, though you'll want to arrive early or be prepared to wait for a seat during peak hours. It's the kind of place where every cappuccino pairs beautifully with pastries that taste as good as they look, making it worth the slightly higher price tag for anyone craving that genuine European café experience.”

This place was super cute, it 100% fulfilled the cute cafe experience I was missing for the past year in my new city. The cakes I had were fantastic and beautiful, and the cappuccino I got was delightful. The interior is gorgeous, while also being very simple 😊 My only complaint is the prices, they're a bit high. If the cakes were $1 less from the $9 and $12 I had, I'd be 110% satisfied 😃
Such a cute place to eat dessert at! I especially liked the mango mousse and the ice cream was spectacular! Definitely recommend, however it is on the more pricey side.
This place is so cute! They have individual desserts and also full cakes. I forget the exact names but we ordered the brown bear and a slice chocolate mousse cake. Adorable and delicious! The desserts were packaged nicely so we could take them home. Our desserts were each about $9. There are a few inside tables if you want to enjoy your treat there. We didn’t get anything to drink but lots of options.
Cute cafe with a smaller space, so you might have to wait a bit if you plan on sitting inside. Dessert and drink selection is solid, with a lot of options you don’t usually see at a standard cafe. Nice spot if you’re looking for something a little different.
Cute little place, I got a mocha and the Nutella cake. It is incredibly rich and I have still yet to finish it but it’s delicious and reminds me of Ferrero Rocher’s! It was busy so it’s clearly a great spot to go and the coffee was a great way to help warm me up although I do wish they also offered hot cocoa.
