Crema's Take
“This espresso-focused spot has cultivated a genuine community hub where thoughtful baristas like Jovi take time to mentor and connect with customers over carefully crafted drinks. Beyond the solid coffee, what really sets it apart is the shop's mission to employ and include disabled adults, creating a workplace rooted in kindness that visitors genuinely feel the moment they walk through the door. It's the kind of place where coffee groups meet monthly and families linger comfortably, drawing people back not just for the beverage, but for the warmth and purpose baked into every interaction.”

I had a great experience today watching the barista Jovi mentoring another employee. She took her time and made sure she explained the change needed with such patience. The kindness and warmth this place offers is a local gem and the coffee is the best in town. The flavors of the month are fun to try and become my new favorite.
I’m a boujee coffee drinker and if it tastes like dessert, that’s event better. With that being said, i somehow started a coffee group that meets up once or twice a month. This time we chose Not Your Average Joes. Parking was great, the atmosphere is so unique. The owner and staff were friendly, a great help in deciding what to get. I had originally ordered a croissant but they ended up being out of them, I got a cookie butter croissant instead and a s’mores cold brew. I definitely recommend. I’m not the biggest coffee drinker, I just like spending time with my friends and enjoying new places
My sister and I just happened to come by this quaint little coffee place called, "Not Your Average Joe", which is really nice and charming. Working the front counter was run by an awesome trio Abbi, Isaac, and Donovan who were all cheerful and very welcoming. The atmosphere is very quiet, warm and very inviting. We had two scones, blueberry scone and apricot scone Americano coffee and bottle water. Y'all need to come check out this place. It's truly awesome.
First time here: we had a chocolate chip cookie (pretty big, and according to my daughter, it was delicious!), a Latte, a cappuccino and a lemon-bluberrie scone. Coffees were ok, but the scone seemed to be half baked (texture was Play-Doh like)and was flavorless... We told the girl at the counter (she was very nice and helpful); she explained that the lemon-bluberrie was vegan and maybe that was the reason it tasted funny for us and offered to change it for a different one. We had a cinnamon scone and was very tasty. The place is really small, the decorations are cute but definitely it's not a place to stay and chat for prolonged hours since most of the chairs are made out of metal (no cushions on them). They sell some fruit spreads and it's a pet friendly place.
Great coffee and an even better mission. We were fortunate enough to overhear the story of the shop's beginnings from the owner. They employ disabled adults and aim to make everyone feel included. The coffee was delicious as well! We also had breakfast burritos and grabbed a scone to go. We would definitely go back!
