Triangle Coffee Bar
100 Chestnut St, Somerville, MA
Crema's Take
“Triangle Coffee Bar is a bright, spacious spot tucked into Somerville's Inner Belt that punches above its weight with thoughtfully crafted espresso drinks and seasonal specials that keep regulars coming back. The baristas clearly care about their craft—reviewers rave about smooth, flavorful lattes that never turn bitter—and the welcoming vibe makes it equally suited for lingering over work, catching up with family, or simply savoring a really good cup. It's the kind of neighborhood gem that feels worth seeking out, with friendly staff, plenty of outlets, and strong coffee that justifies the trip.”

So glad there is finally a Triangle Coffee open to the public! Amazing coffee and great seasonal latte options. Kid friendly and also a great spot to work from if you’re looking for a change in scenery.
Had a vanilla latte with almond milk and it was great. Not bitter and very flavorful and smooth. They offer oat and almond milk, but l do wish they offered soy as well. The coffeeshop is in the lower level of a co-working space. It is very spacious and has multiple types of seating (long wooden table, small tables for two, and multiple fancy cushioned chairs with short coffee tables in the middle). There’s also art being sold in one part which is an open space and makes the overall coffeeshop feel much larger and airier. The coffeeshop was neither too empty nor too full. The music was very low, if there at all, so it provides a quiet environment conducive to working, studying, etc.
A lovely space, nice barista, great coffee. This is an awesome space to come visit, a bit in the middle of nowhere, but arguably worth it. Excited to see what this spot turns into over time, will come back.
Really bright and spacious place to get work done while enjoying a coffee or tea. The staff are friendly and I enjoyed my iced matcha. The large table has outlets you can plug into, and there's free wifi. There are also two single stall restrooms. I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in the area!
New coffee shop with great vibes and average food. Located in a newly constructed corporate office in the Inner Belt area, Triangle Coffee Bar was a surprising find. Despite being the sole dining option for the workers nearby, the cafe was fairly empty when I took a visit around noon on a Friday. With a spacious and aesthetically pleasing setting, it was almost reminiscent of a small art gallery with artworks adorning one wall. Priced at an affordable range under $10, the food menu seemed promising. Following one of the employee’s recommendation, I opted for the Chicken Salad Sandwich and an Iced London Fog. Unfortunately, both were mediocre. The sandwich, served on lukewarm focaccia bread, contained an underwhelming amount of chicken salad. Similarly, the Iced London Fog was overly mild, and it tasted more like a London Fog-flavored water. Despite the lackluster food experience, Triangle Coffee Bar still offers a charming space for getting some work done or simply unwinding. The current food offerings might not justify the extra effort to get too this area, but I might come back for their breakfast sandwiches.
