Crema's Take

This beloved Cambodian food truck in Eugene serves up authentic, boldly flavored dishes like beef lok lak and papaya salad that taste like they've traveled straight from Phnom Penh, with fresh-pressed smoothies in taro and mango that rival the savory standouts. The owner-operator's genuine warmth and generous portions at fair prices have created a devoted following of customers who keep coming back for the consistent quality and unapologetic spice. It's the kind of place where you feel the care in every dish, making it a real gem for anyone seeking genuine Southeast Asian flavors beyond the usual cafe fare.

On this day, Saturday, Feb 7th, 2026 I searched for Cambodian food on Google Maps and found this place. I’ve been craving this food, and we saw the high reviews, looked at the menu, and decided to try it for our first time. We drove from Salem, which is 1 hour, 10 minutes away. We had to wait a bit because we forgot to call it in ahead of time. She gave us a free drink due to our waiting time, which was so sweet of her. We didn’t mind of the wait because we had a large size order and others had their orders that she had to accommodate first. The owner and cook was “Srey Som,” I believe. I’m sorry if I got it wrong. She and her husband was very kind and very sweet. She gave us a large zippered cooler bag and packed our orders, listed below, into it, knowing we had a long trip back to Salem so our food wouldn’t spill. All of the food we ordered and ate was “PHENOMENAL.” The flavors work so well together. It was absolutely delicious. I truly wish Salem would have Cambodian cuisine someday like this. For now, I will drive this far to eat here. My overall favorite is the Khmer Specials: Num Banh Chok Samlor Khmer and the Bai Sach Ko Jakak. [Chefs kiss…big time from my husband and me.] We’ll be back for more… 24oz Ta Ni Kafe/Lced And Blended Coffee (Iced Milk Tea and Iced Coffee-ordered) $6.00 #29 Num Kroch $6 (Perfect dough consistency, not too doughy and not too oily.) Glutinous Rice, Mung Bean, Sugar, Coconut, and Sesame Seeds. #09 Bai Sach Ko Jakak $16 (2 orders received) Cambodian Beef Skewer. Beef Marinated with My Mother's Lemongrass Spice and Served with Papaya Pickle. #20 Samlor Machu Kreung $15 Your Choice of Beef. Green Papaya, Celery, Lemongrass Spice, Curry leave. #21 Cambodian Machu Ktiss $15 Choice of Beef. Celery, Green Bean, Pineapple, Bell Pepper, Eggplant, Basil, Tomatoes, Cream of Coconut, with Lemongrass Spice. Khmer Specials: #S2 Num Banh Chok Samlor Khmer $14 (2 orders received) Catfish, Coconut Cream, Mixed Veggies, Cabbage, Carrot, Cucumber, and Basil.

Incredible. I’m so happy I found this place, the food is so delicious and authentic. Got the beef lok lak and the num pang pork sandwich. The pickled veggies - amazing. Everything there looks delicious, will come back. Especially to try the fish. HEADS UP This is legit homemade flavors, so expect spice and fish sauce flavor bombs. Also, the lady was super sweet and doing everything by herself. A little patience but worth it.

The food was amazing with unique flavors. Delicious meat, and so the smoothies. Taro and mango were really good. The service was amazing. The portions were very generous, great price.

Yummy Cambodian food truck! The lady who runs it and cooks is very kind and generous. Food is consistent and has amazing flavor! Make sure to try their Mango Smoothie, she makes it fresh and isn’t overly sweet. They typically close at 3:30 I believe

Yes! Finally a khmer food truck in Eugene! For my first time here, I ordered the Bok Lahong (papaya salad). Super authentic flavors - drowning in a very rich fishy fish sauce and the spicy is SPICY! For a true bok lahong lover. 🥰 it was a big container of food for $13, chock full of veggies, too, with a nice wedge of fresh cabbage, cucumbers, plenty of tomatoes, and even thai eggplants. You can also order sticky rice as a side optionally. So happy to discover this cart tucked away behind the others on this corner. There appears to be lots of desserts available too, and all of the classic khmer stews. Update 6/2025: The beef skewers rice set (bai sach ko jakak) are a must-have. Super lemongrassy beef in 3 skewers, it comes with a heap of absolutely delicious (spicy) pickled papaya/veggies and lots of rice. Also tried the sandwich with pork and it’s like a khmer banh mi- super light and fluffy and so fresh. Packed with more veggie than meat, it is a pickle lover’s DREAM and was delightfully crunchy. Also tried the grilled pork rice set recently, and I like it even better than the beef!!! Note: there’s just one person working so prepare for a wait (10-20 mins)
