This place is beyond good, the shawarma is the best I’ve ever had. I have friends that are from Pakistan and they said it is very similar to the shawarma they have at there. The owner is very caring about his business and loves it a lot. You can tell this in how he interacts and runs the restaurant. If you are near by stop by 100%, this is even worth a far drive honestly.
Hands down the best shawarma I’ve had, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The customer service was amazing, especially Nia. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell she truly cares about customers. I really enjoyed the food and will definitely be coming back.
Alhamdulillah! Finally found an authentic shawarma! 🙌 One bite and I was taken back to 1995 in Abu Dhabi. The only knock would be they did not have fresh pita bread to serve the shawarma in. The food was exceptional and the hospitality was great. They even let me try a new dessert the chef was working one! Highly recommended for anyone who has had the privilege of eating a shawarma off a food truck in the Middle East! I will be back!
Authentic, flavorful, and truly halal! — HFSAA Halal-certified spot — and everything from the food to the hospitality was excellent. Their chicken and beef shawarmas are both delicious, with perfectly toasted wraps, tender meat, and just the right touch of pickles inside. The fries are crisp and slightly well-done (which I loved), and the salad adds a nice balance. The cheese fatayer is a must-try for kids — soft, cheesy, and comforting. They also have chicken and spicy fatayer options, but I recommend the plain cheese one for a different flavor from the shawarma. And the star of the meal? The Dubai Chocolate Roll dessert — a rich dessert currently available only in a family-size portion. It’s not on the menu yet, but definitely worth asking for — a perfect treat to share when dining with family! Highly recommend Abu Shawarma for anyone looking for tasty Middle Eastern food in Howard County area.
First time here and really enjoyed the food. The portions are large and can easily be shared or made into multiple meals! There is seating inside, but is limited. The staff are friendly. They have a drink fridge with canned/bottled items, no fountain drinks. The combo with pita chips and hummus is a great touch. We enjoyed the food and will be back!
