Crema's Take

Tea N More is a laid-back San Diego tea house that's won over the neighborhood with its genuinely great boba and specialty teas (the raspberry iced tea is a standout), plus surprisingly solid snacks like popcorn chicken and takoyaki that won't break the bank. What really sets it apart is the vibe—a spacious, quiet spot filled with quirky charm thanks to its Gotcha machines, manga library, and claw machines, making it equally perfect for solo laptop work, group meetups with those generous large tables, or just killing time before catching the bus. It's the kind of place where people keep coming back specifically because it nails the whole experience, not just the drink.

Not too sweat. Solid food options tried the popcorn chicken snack was fair priced and very yummy. Atmosphere is the coolest thing not too crowded but a vibe. Gotcha machines, manga, and some claw machines. Free wifi too.

The boba tastes great, as well as the takoyaki. Just the food items are a bit on the pricier side. What I really love about this location is how they have large tables, perfect for hosting meetup events and boardgames if you want. I go on Fridays during the daytime and there's always enough space for me to host a coding meetup group.

This place is by far my favorite tea house in all of San Diego! No other place has captured my love for tea more than Tea N More. The raspberry iced tea is sweet and well balanced. I will keep coming for more. Furthermore, their popcorn chicken is very delicious. It's a simple snack box with a healthy side of boiled vegetables, steamed rice and a boiled egg. All combined together to give a satisfying end to your hunger.

Tea and more I kind of stumbled on. I was waiting for a bus and had about 20 minutes. So, this place is right by the bus stop. It has a wide open quiet atmosphere inside with plenty of seating spaces throughout. You order off the lighted menu on the wall to the person behind the counter. When ready they will call your name. Orders are served in cardboard Togo boxes used for all orders. I ordered beef sukiyaki which came with white rice and fresh broccoli. It was all very delicious! It also came with a choice of green or black tea which could be either hot or iced. I ordered the iced green tea which was also delicious. The only issue I had was the drink came in a prepackaged container which was a challenge to open. I actually had to use one of the plastic knives to cut it open. Other than that it was a great meal. So, a good place for a quick bite or drink which waiting for the bus. They also have a variety of fresh coffees that are brewed to order. Moderately priced on most items on the menu

Went to Tea n More on a rainy day after shopping at 99 Ranch. The space was bigger than expected, and the menu was long. Ordered a Sukiyaki rice set, a crepe, papaya milk tea, and black tea. Sadly, the food was disappointing—overly strong flavors, and both my mom and I felt unwell after. The place didn’t smell clean, with a strong sewer odor near the restroom. Service was mediocre; the cashier seemed upset, forgot my hot tea request, and had to be reminded by another staff. Overall, not a place I’d return to.
