Crema's Take

Memo's is a beloved West Springfield institution where locals camp out for hours over expertly crafted mimosas and creative breakfast plates like stuffed French toast and sausage Benedict. The spacious, welcoming dining room fills up quickly on weekend mornings, but the friendly staff keeps the energy warm and the food flowing, making it the kind of place where regulars develop deep loyalty after just a few visits. Come hungry, bring cash, and settle in for a slow, satisfying breakfast experience that justifies the occasional wait.

Memos is hands down one of the best restaurants in our area! The staff is so friendly and the food is always delicious. They have the best mimosas and Eggs Benedict I have ever had! The waitress was so kind and made my daughter so happy with her pancakes! Highly recommend!!!

I've been coming here regularly for almost two years now, and things remain amazing. I have a number of go-tos that I swap between- the sausage benedict, the waffle, the stuffed french toast and the blueberry pancakes... in that order. No matter what, I always get a side of home fries. You know what? Home fries rant. Home fries aren't always great. Every place defines them differently. Some places slather them with onions, some places just use pepper, some places use tons of dill, some places use nothing at all and just serve you what are essentially cubed french fries (which is inexcusable). For my money, Memo's does home fries exactly right. Look at my photos. Those are pitch-perfect home fries and even though I was just there yesterday I could dive into a pile of them right now, Scrooge McDuck style. Memo's is terrific. The service is friendly and fast, the prices are great and they do breakfast as well as anyone. Bring cash (they don't do cards for some reason) and be prepared for a (short-ish) wait if you come on a weekend.

Went on a Sunday around 9:30, had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Once we were seated and ordered the food came pretty quick. Overall we were not impressed with the food. It was nothing spectacular, just average breakfast food. Eggs were cold when they reached the table and pancakes were tough. Very few meals come with home fries, which was rather disappointing. Atmosphere was very loud and chaotic. Thought we would have a better experience based on all the reviews, but we most likely won’t be back.

$$CASH ONLY$$ We arrived Memo’s around Friday 9am. The parking lot was full!! I was worried there would a long wait inside. Surprisingly there was no wait and inside was very spacious with many different sections. They would only seat you if the entire party arrives. Also the staff told me there was another parking lot on the side. They have the open kitchen concept. You can hear the chef calling out tickets and running the kitchen. Cool like Chef Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen show. Food was fantastic . I loved my crab cake Benedict. Flavorful, tender, eggs were cook beautifully. I wished the crab cakes were bigger tho. They were very good. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It is a very popular spot for the locals and visitors. I’ll recommend to try if you are in the neighborhood.

I am a sucker for a good breakfast menu. Lumber jack breakfast was as good as it looks. Memo's had it covered and great prices. Name it they got it. Best still full restaurant Sunday at 9 AM and the wait staff were charmingly efficient in quality and quantity of work.
