Philz Coffee

Philz is a wonderful coffee shop with delicious coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and very hospitable. We live in Washington, DC, but whenever we visit LA, we always make sure to stop by. ☕

I have been to this coffee shop at least six times now and every time I visit, I am blown away by their amazing coffee! I recently tried a coffee at their Huntington Beach location that was absolutely delicious. It had the perfect blend of chocolate and coffee flavors, along with some creamy goodness. I didn't catch the name of the coffee, but I am determined to find it again! I visited their branch at Brand Blvd and tried their large hot Mocha Tesora with creamer, along with a slice of their banana bread. The coffee was so well-blended with the chocolate and coffee flavors, it was just heavenly. And let me tell you, that banana bread was moist and downright delicious! Not only is their coffee top-notch, but the atmosphere of the coffee shop is also welcoming and spacious. So if you're looking for a great cup of coffee and a cozy spot to enjoy it, this place is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings. Just had the BEST experience at this coffee shop! Their cashier was so friendly and helpful, and then the barista asked me to taste my coffee before leaving to make sure it was perfect. I love the coffee and pastries. I was shocked to see flies everywhere and landing on every single pastry! , and you are not doing anything about it. This is unhealthy and unsanitary and feels like I am in a third world country. When I asked employees about it, the answer was only "I'm sorry," without remorse that this is unacceptable and will be fixed. Please fix this! It is not okay.!

I’ve been a fan of Peet’s Coffee since trying it in San Francisco, and randomly stopped by this location today. It was much cleaner and brighter than the one I visited before, and the barista—super friendly and with the most charming smile—made my coffee perfectly. I got the Iced Mint Mojito Latte which is my favorite. So refreshing! You can also customize the size, hot or iced, and even adjust the cream (light or medium). Also, shoutout to the barista today—he had the most charming smile. 👍🏻👍🏻 Highly recommend this spot if you’re nearby—cute indoor and outdoor seating, and convenient paid street parking right out front.

Beautiful Philz location with killer drip coffee! I am a Philz fan and have been for a while. This location delivers on the quality front, and is located conveniently next to the Americana and Glendale Galleria. I got the Jacob’s Wonderbar and it definitely packs a good punch. Not sure how they make a drip coffee with such thick consistency and richness in flavor, but it’s definitely worth coming to! My only complaints with this location: beyond regular wait times. Usually a long line at this location, but even on this visit with no line it took almost 10 min to grab a single coffee. The staff are incredibly chatty so I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it for an indoor study spot (unless you have good noise-cancelling headphones haha), but it looks like they’re having a good time behind the bar!
