Crema's Take

Ravensara Espresso stands out as a genuine neighborhood gem where you can grab a perfectly pulled espresso or a comforting homemade tomato bisque through the drive-thru window—their pastries and scones are legendarily good enough that locals have been known to order them by the box. The shop clearly takes pride in clean ingredients and handmade offerings, though consistency with both staff warmth and food quality seems to vary, so you might want to visit when the vibe feels right.

It was my first time ever trying this adorable drive thru coffee shop this week. What I wasn’t expecting was hot homemade soup and crackers, yes also handmade. The tomato bisque soup with the delightful little crackers tasted like every hug I ever needed as a child. I will be coming back every week for soup and I’m kicking myself for not stopping by sooner. If you’ve been driving past this place and have been wanting to try it, do it! The soup is awesome 10/10 and the coffee is great too. Thank you Ravensara

Sometimes the girls at the window are kind and cool, but other times (other girls) there's a negativity like they dont want you there. As for espresso, there's some people that get it right, and others that make it not so right. Im very clear about my drink order, its not complicated, but somehow theres always someone new there, or at least thats what the coffee tastes like. The espresso itself, the way theyre pulling it, it tastes shallow and burnt lately. Ive been coming here for close to 5 years and i think today was the last time. I get consistently mediocre service and negative-feeling interactions from the people that have been working the window. For context, im a barista of 6 years myself and play it nice at the window... i understand customer service and coffee and i know how it can be stressful at times but its like these girls are pre-pissed at a customer's presence and it just sucks. (And before you wonder, I tip good.)

$10 for a breakfast sandwich??? Not even a good one. Bread was stale, sausage was bland, eggs were dry. I used to like this place, but if this is their idea of fair price, I'm not getting my coffee here anymore either. They've lost the plot.

We used to live in the area and we would always come here for the scones. They are perfect- not too sweet and crunchy on the edges. I ordered a box for the plane to bring home w me- that’s how much we love them!

Quality food you don’t normally find at other coffee shops. Soups are wholesome and yummy. I appreciate they use clean ingredients. Variety of sugar free options as well and not too spendy like other alternative coffee shops. Only critique is I wish they had a big menu board in the line so you can decide before rolling up to the window. I took most recent photos of the menu November 2024
