Twenty Below Coffee

600 8th St S, Moorhead, MN

Crema's Take

This espresso-focused spot in Moorhead has mastered the art of slow coffee craftsmanship, with pour overs and made-to-order drinks that take their time because they're worth it. The bright, fireplace-warmed space with big windows creates an inviting hub where regulars happily camp out for hours with their laptops or friends, even if the minimalist aesthetic could use a bit more coziness. The pastries and reliable coffee quality keep people coming back, though you'll want to settle in with patience during peak hours when the place fills with folks who've discovered why Twenty Below has earned such devoted local love.

Possibly one of the best coffee shops in town, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the speed of service. The coffee was good, but because it's so popular, there were always many people reading or chatting there during afternoon tea time.

Cute place but a bit sparse. I like a cozier feel (a rug, something in the walls) but I loved the fireplace and big windows! You can tell the coffee is homemade to order because it takes longer than Starbucks and taste way better! The staff were very friendly.

Great ambiance with good coffee. Good place to chill, chat, study, pretty much for anything.

20 Below a go to coffee shop, especially if I’m looking for a place I can chill in for a while. The location is great, the coffee is delicious, the pastries are yummy, and I can usually find an outlet. During the school year it can get busy, so be strategic about timing if you want to get a table, but if it wasn’t a great spot it wouldn’t be busy. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I came here on a Saturday in mid-December. We got coffees and avocado toast. Prices were about average. The coffee and avacado toast was ok, but the piece of bread was almost too thick. My husband did not like his coffee since it was burnt. It was hard to find a place to sit. The waitress wasn't overly friendly while ringing up our order. May go back to try again.
