Peoples Town Coffee Bar
55 Milton Ave SE, Atlanta, GA
Crema's Take
“Peoples Town Coffee Bar is a thoughtfully designed third space in a walkable Atlanta neighborhood where specialty coffee from Tanbrown takes center stage alongside creative matcha drinks that earn genuine praise when executed well. The vibe strikes that rare balance of being perfect for focused work or lingering conversations, complete with free parking and light food like their notably generous sandwiches, making it feel less like a caffeine pit stop and more like a neighborhood gathering spot.”

I stay close in the area and wanted a matcha. The matcha was very bland and tasteless for $10 . I got the brown sugar cinnamon matcha. It wasn't that sweet and tasted like water. I love the atmosphere its nice but I wouldn't come here for a matcha. Im disappointed at the taste for the price. They recommend this drink style matcha cause I wanted it on the sweeter side. You're better off making a matcha order at starbucks.
What a lovely third space! We met a friend to explore a “new” neighborhood for long-time city dwellers. The coffee (Tanbrown Coffee) was delicious by snob standards and the tea was well-brewed too. The egg sandwiches were soul-filling. Most importantly, the service was gracious and attentive fostering a sense of warmth and community. Absolutely will revisit.
$10 for just milk basically. Unfortunately the most poorly made matcha I’ve ever had. A bit confused because i saw it hand whisked in person and not sure why it’s a pale green (especially compared to authentic matcha & the matcha photos they market online) I’d be willing to give them another shot if the prices weren’t so insane
Located in a nice neighborhood with free parking right next door. Food and coffee were delicious! Great quiet vibes during the day.
A really nice coffee shop to get some work done with good drinks and food. The blueberry matcha was amazing, not overly sweet once mixed together. Turkey club was huge, its double decker. The egg sandwich I couldn’t even open my mouth big enough to get a full bite but was hot and fresh and very delicious. The staff was so kind as well, we talked with them for a bit and they were honestly really lovely people. Good WiFi, nice bathrooms, overall nice place to hang for a little.
