Tree House Cafe
630 3rd St, West Sacramento, CA
Crema's Take
“Nestled in a charming converted house near the Sacramento River, Tree House Cafe serves thoughtfully crafted espresso drinks and surprisingly solid food in a genuinely warm, dog-friendly space that feels more like a friend's backyard than a typical cafe. The sun-drenched patio and quirky neighborhood location make it worth the short walk from downtown, especially if you're craving their killer cappuccinos alongside something hearty like their Yo Adrian pesto sandwich or avocado toast. With strong ratings and a loyal crowd who appreciate both the coffee and the convivial atmosphere, this is the kind of spot where you'll actually want to linger with a book or meet a friend rather than just grab and go.”

Great food, coffee, and beer. Beautiful in the spring, covered, and uncovered outdoor seating. Great ambiance overall. Dog friendly too!
This cafe was at a corner of 3rd St & G St. of West Sac. We parked our car a block away since there's only street parking in the area. We arrived here around 1:30pm on Saturday and ordered immediately inside the shack. We opted to sit under the big apple tree on the side of the shack and it was very breezy and cooled in spite of the hot summer weather. Our order came out in about 10 minutes after we sat down. - Sunday egg: the bun was soft and fluffy. The combination of ham, egg, pickled onion, and arugula was good. - Flying Dutchmen: I love Dutch crunch bread esp. the crunch on the crackle. The combination of BBQ, grilled chicken, and pickled onion was perfect!
Cute little cafe/coffee spot hidden in a quirky and quaint little house conversion that's nestled in the little neighborhood along side calpers/ river cats baseball field. Me and my daughter got a few things to try. She got the chicken quesadilla, I got the caprse panini (vegetarian) and the house oatmeal to share. Their hibiscus tea iced was fabulous as was their pastries. Matcha muffin, blueberry muffin, and vegan brownie bites. Can't wait to come back and try their coffees and other drinks Gabriel was a sweet, kind, and fast with his service. Bravo!
Beautiful spot within walking distance from downtown. Thank you for the great cappuccino and Yo Adrian pesto sammy (recommend!) on your sun soaked patio!!
First time here. The place was very cute! We got an avocado toast and a bacon and egg sandwich. Both tasted fine, the avocado toast was slightly different from what i was used to but over it was tasty. The outdoor seating was spaced out pretty well. The yard was beautiful with lots of mature fruit trees. Got to speak with the owner regarding the history of this property from the 1930's! What an incredible journey for this place. Can't wait to see the upcoming projects.
