Crema's Take

Bueno Café is a warm, family-run West Sacramento spot that feels like a genuine community gathering place, with stunning local murals and art that set it apart from typical coffee shops. They excel at both traditional café drinks like café de olla and creative specialty beverages, paired perfectly with housemade pastries and breakfast items that draw regulars back again and again. The owners clearly care about making everyone feel welcome—whether you're stopping by solo for a leisurely coffee or meeting friends over empanadas—and they even feature local artist Gustavo Reynoso's work on the walls.

This was our first time at Bueno Café & we will definitely tell all of our friends to visit when in town. Immediately the atmosphere was calm & welcoming. There is indoor & outdoor seating. I got the mazapán mocha & my partner got the horchata cold brew, both were delicious. Throughout our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting Arturo. He checked in on us & made sure our coffee was to our liking. He took the time to get to know us a bit & brought us a sample of their café de olla (which was so delicious!!). I loved all the murals. Muchas gracias Bueno Café staff & Sr. Arturo por su hospitalidad y atención!

I've met here a couple of times with my friends for coffee and empanadas and sandwiches. The folks running Bueno Cafe are so kind and make you feel so comfortable. There is dining inside and outside, with enough space for small groups. Their prices are very reasonable and their selection is just right for this type of cafe. Cheers to Bueno Cafe! PS. We all loved the murals!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this cafe. The art and murals on the wall are beautiful. It seems family owned and generations working together to keep the cafe going. Enjoyed my visit. I had a red velvet latte. Not too sweet or strong; tasty 😊

A perfect place for some art, cafécito y pan dulce. Enjoy drinking some café de olla out of a beautiful jarrito mug. And make sure to buy some amazing local artwork by Gustavo Reynoso.
