Crema's Take
“Fiddleheads is a spacious, welcoming neighborhood spot in Shorewood where espresso drinks and pour overs pair beautifully with quality breakfast sandwiches and lunch fare, making it equally suited for a focused work session or a leisurely catch-up with friends. The staff clearly takes pride in creating a comfortable atmosphere, and regulars rave about the generous dining space and the care that goes into both the coffee and food—though be prepared for prices that reflect the thoughtful quality on offer.”

While I was here 12/20 4:00 pm, a Black woman was quietly resting at a table with a coffee from Fiddleheads. The store manager called the police on her and the police escorted her out telling her to go to a different establishment. She calmly stated she was homeless and had no idea where else she would go right now, and the officer suggested Culver’s. She walked out with her bags without any issue. It is winter and very cold. She was doing nothing wrong. And as far as I’m concerned I can sit at a coffee shop with my drink for as long as I’d like.
Went to Fiddleheads today to have a tea and sandwich with my daughter. She had an iced coffee which she enjoyed. Fiddleheads also has breakfast and lunch sandwiches. We ordered an avocado and egg croissant with ranch and mayo. The sandwich was pretty good. Definitely a nice change of pace from the typical egg and sausage muffin. Service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. We stop at many coffeehouses and prices were reasonable.
Fiddleheads Coffee Shorewood is one of my "goto" places on a workday morning for a latte and a sandwich. I always look forward to my interaction with the staff. I love the dining area; there is plenty of room to sit comfortably and enjoy my meal before heading off to a busy day!
Really great coffee shop, spacious, clean, and nice atmosphere to read and meet with friends over coffee or lunch alike. Great variety of drinks, and nice menu for lunch, though I found the prices a bit higher than expected, and not a great value for the portion size. We enjoyed the salad and the toasted turkey sandwich with chips. Support local businesses. Enjoy!
Dropped in here for a quick bite of breakfast on a Tuesday morning and ordered the Toasted Avacado Croissant and Aztec Mocha. Items here are a bit pricey but of good quality. The croissant on the breakfast sandwich was flaky and buttery, and the Aztec Mocha was spicy and absolutely delicious! The inside is nice and spacious, and their outdoor patio is quite lovely.
