Crema's Take

Dubbel Dutch feels like a warm embrace from the Netherlands tucked into Denver, where the Dutch owner's genuine kindness sets the tone the moment you walk through the door. Beyond excellent espresso drinks, this gem distinguishes itself with hard-to-find traditional Dutch goods, made-to-order sandwiches like the beloved Old Amsterdam, and a carefully curated selection of snacks that keep regulars coming back weekly. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee and pastry or settling in for a leisurely afternoon, the charming, unhurried atmosphere makes it equally perfect for solo contemplation or meeting a friend.

Love it here! Best sandwiches in the area, and at great prices. Also has amazing foods/snacks on the shelves. I go here at least weekly.

We stopped in for a quick Valentine’s Day lunch. The service is awesome, the selection of goods to buy is interesting, and our sandwich was amazing! We went for the Old Amsterdam and loved it. Highly recommend.

A charming little shop that feels like stepping into a gentle, happy secret. From the moment you enter, you are embraced by the warmth and grace of its delightful Dutch owner, whose kindness, bright smile, and quiet charm make you feel instantly at home. Her presence fills the space with joy, care, and a sense that every visitor is truly valued. The shop itself is a treasure trove of Dutch goodies and small delights, a place where the eye, the heart, and the taste buds are all invited to linger. Everything is thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and rooted in old-style recipes that honor tradition while delighting the senses. The sandwiches are exceptional — generous, flavorful, and crafted with care — and the egg salad is nothing short of sumptuous: rich, comforting, and utterly memorable. There is a gentle whimsy in the air, a soft playfulness in the way the shop presents itself, that makes each visit feel special. This is more than a place to eat; it is a pause in the day, a warm breath of hospitality, and a celebration of simple pleasures done exceptionally well. Sweet, inviting, and quietly magnificent — a small local gem that lingers in the memory and leaves the heart a little lighter.

I have been ordering my favorite dutch goodies from this store for years and am so happy to have found them! They have all of the traditional things that are hard to find elsewhere, and each time I order things they are always packed carefully and arrive quickly. Bedankt Dubbel Dutch!

I am from the Netherlands, but I’m not going to be biased, we stop by on our break from transporting children. I drive on Lowe Boulevard every day and I saw the sign double Dutch or like what is that so I went on Google and like I said we went there and it was the best sandwich that both me and my coworker had he said this is delicious and I think it has to do of course with the cheese, the fresh bread and the wonderful lady that made our sandwiches. They were so good we almost turned around And one more. I love this place because it’s the only place in this area that has Dutch groceries like licorice and all kinds of other delicious goodies customer for life, Thank you Eefje.
