Crema's Take
“Chef Joey and his team at The Trojan Station have created something special in Troy—a place where genuine hospitality meets genuinely excellent food, particularly breakfast sandwiches that locals are genuinely excited about. The kitchen makes everything to order with fresh, generous ingredients, and you can feel Chef Joey's passion in every conversation about the daily specials. It's the kind of spot where you'll want to linger over coffee with friends, knowing you're in capable, caring hands.”

Really impressed with everything at The Trojan Station. My friend and I were immediately welcomed by Chef Joey and staff. He was so passionate talking about the daily specials. I ordered the western omelette, corned beef hash and salted caramel latte. Not only was everything delicious but well priced. The omelette was $14.99 and the latte was $6.99. They serve all day breakfast and for lunch a variety of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, paninis and loaded fries. I’m looking forward to returning and trying lunch and/or getting breakfast again.
Well, what can I say about this impeccable establishment?? Many many things! Would run out of room honestly - so I'll try to keep this simple with words but I will try to convey every word full of flavor and passion because that's exactly what I tasted in the Dirty Slaw Chicken sandwich. You look over the menu, you wonder what will be the delight to try (ps I was introduced to this place by my very good friend/brother Wes Julian) he and I are foodies like the ones that are reading this review right now- so you pick the item, your mouth starts to water, the service was SPOT on and then it comes. I've included pics but let me tell you - I have eaten some chicken sandwiches in at least 40 states. I've travel 48 of them - THIS Chicken sandwich blew my taste buds in a whole new direction - formed new boundaries on what a chicken Sandwich should taste like. Should I go on?? OR I've said enough and you should go and try ANYTHING off the menu because my buddy Wes got the Chicken cutlet. Pic also included. Bon appetit!!
The food is so good! I don’t usually write reviews, but this place is a must! Way better than Manory’s by far 🤩. My friends and I discovered this place the other day after finding out Manory’s was closed, and we are so glad they were because this place just made themselves 3 new loyal customers. The food is very reasonably priced, and you really get a bang for your buck with the quality of the food. They also have 10% off student discounts, and the owner is so friendly and fun to talk to! But their bread that they get from NYC is AMAZING! Their lunch menu is sooo good as well. They are so good we came back again today! 10/10 recommend!!
This place might just have the best breakfast sandwiches around. We couldn’t decide between the sausage egg and cheese and bacon egg and cheese so we got both and they were equally delicious. The sandwiches came with this tangy “Trojan sauce” which added a nice flavor. The owner/chef came out and told us that he gets the rolls fresh from Arthur avenue in New York City, and it is definitely worth the trip because they were so soft and buttery without overpowering the sandwich. Also don’t sleep on the French toast sticks which are covered cinnamon sugar and every adults childhood fantasy come to life. Despite the high quality of ingredients and generous portions,, the prices were very reasonable which is hard to come by these days. I can’t wait to return and try the other items in their menu!
Top notch food and service! My family and I tried this spot for breakfast after seeing a social media post. Truly the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Huge, fresh ingredients, made to order. Speciality coffees. We also had the western omelette and the blueberry French toast special. All equally delicious. Again, fresh blueberries, not the frozen syrup kind often used. The customer service matched the quality of the food. We were greeted by the owner/chef as we walked in. The whole staff was very pleasant and welcoming. This will be one of my new favorites.
