Alchemy Coffee

Crema's Take
“Alchemy Coffee is a sprawling, beautifully designed Philadelphia destination that strikes the rare balance between a serious espresso bar and a genuinely comfortable workspace with abundant seating options. Their lattes arrive quickly and reliably good, and regulars rave about unexpected gems like the cauliflower danish, making it easy to linger whether you're catching a train or settling in for a work session. The light-filled space has clearly become a favorite for both coffee lovers seeking that reliable espresso-focused quality and folks who need a spacious, welcoming spot to spend a few hours.”

Great coffee and friendly service. The space is very spacious. I stopped by on the way to train station for a day visit from NYC. Great location if you need to wait for a train.
Absolutely adore the decor in this cafe and I’m actually addicted to their cauliflower danish. The lattes are good; nothing revolutionary but good. You’d have to come early to get a comfortable seat, as it often gets packed. Service can be improved simply by having staff that don’t deep sigh every time you break them away from their captivating conversations with each other to order your coffee.
Absolutely massive and stunning space. Great to see another alchemy location as I love their founding location. I could see myself coming here if I needed to get work done out of the house. Plenty of bar seating, tables, couches to sit and socialize or work. Minus 1 star because it is SO expensive. A small matcha latte is >$7. I was genuinely shocked when the price popped up on the screen. I haven’t been to the other location in awhile and I forgot how $$$ it is. At this price point, it will be an occasional treat for me. 🍵
I really enjoyed this coffee shop! My drink, a latte, came out quickly and it was delicious. There is a ton of seating and despite it being a very busy day for the city (running events) I was able to get a seat right away. The interior is very spacious and cozy, and there are hundreds of books throughout the shop which I believe you're free to read. I really loved this. My only recommendation is that, although a nice selection, the music was a bit loud and made reading a bit challenging.
Such a beautiful workspace with plenty of seats ranging from tables, window seats, and couches. I had a great time studying here!! I ordered an iced matcha and it was okay. It was very mild and the matcha wasn’t as strong as I was expecting it to be, considering it was $8. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying their coffee though.
