Crema's Take

Tucked into New Orleans' historic Treme neighborhood, this beloved spot serves genuinely excellent coffee alongside Mediterranean-inspired pastries and breakfast plates that keep regulars coming back—think baklava that lives up to the hype and Turkish coffee done right. The real magic is in the unhurried atmosphere where you're equally welcome to linger over a long black, celebrate with your pug, or become part of what feels like someone's living room, complete with a resident kitty and staff that treat every visitor like family. It's the kind of place that feels less like a coffee shop and more like the heart of its community, where both the food and the genuine warmth are exceptional.

Everything was delicious! They are dog friendly, even gave our pug a big bone! The Turkish coffee is delicious too, a must stop for a nice breakfast. We even got to see the cute resident kitty there during our visit

This coffee shop is one of the best we have ever visited. It is a comfortable and community vibe inside. The menu is extensive and has great choices. Good pastries and excellent coffee. Great suggestions by our server.

Indeed a cozy little corner with service and food to match! The Mediterranean breakfast plate was fantastic and her baklava is out of this world! If you're visiting the New Orleans area I definitely recommend filling your belly and getting cozy at Fatma's Cozy Corner!

The highlight of my time in New Orleans. Great cafe in the historic Treme neighborhood. At last, a good coffee (long black). The menu looks great, but at this time I settled for a fabulous slice of cherry pie. Charming welcome, and great table service. Nice crowd too. Soft jazz playing. I could not recommend more highly 😀

This place is amazing! If you're looking for somewhere to eat delicious food and drink wonderful coffee that comes with the best service and complimentary friendly smiles, than this is the place! We had the breakfast sandwich with sausage and spinach and a 4 shot cortado, the tuna sandwich and with ice tea and the Mediterranean plate with Turkish coffee. Everything was superb! It's worth the walk, the drive, the bus ride!
