Crema's Take

This charming dual-level beachside hut nails the art of doing one thing really well: pairing excellent espresso drinks with genuinely crunchy, generous sandwiches on mini-baguettes that locals can't stop raving about. By day it's a casual coffee and grab-and-go spot where cappuccinos hit the mark, but come evening the upstairs tiki bar transforms into a lively cocktail lounge where the bartenders are clearly having as much fun as the guests. It's the rare place that earns repeat visits within a single week, equally at home hosting a quick caffeine fix or a full evening out.

First time as a local finding this adorable hut. There are two layers to this dive, upstairs (tiki bar) downstairs ( more food truck vibes). They have a great selection of Coffee, sandwiches and drinks. I had the old 98 sandwich and it was AMAZING. The girls and I stayed around for a few local beers and enjoyed being outside. Happy hour was 2-4. Parking is troublesome and you have to pay. No validation. That was my only downfall for this place. Everything else was amazing. Even the cute clean bathroom with birds chirping in the background lol. I will be going back. The sandwiches are one you will definitely crave again. My total bill for water, sandwich and a beer was around $33 . Sandwich was huge so definitely could share.

The sandwiches were huge and absolutely delicious. One of the best subs I have had! Following the tasty sandwiches, we went upstairs and enjoyed a cocktail at the rooftop bar- great experience & great service!

Only went early, there is an upstairs area that serves as a cocktail lounge. A menu limited to simple foods, mostly sandwiches (hello 'sando') on mini-bagettes . Well staffed, quite popular. After ordering I had a line of 8 behind me, stopping only sporadically for ~45 minutes.

Visiting a lot of places during my week in Destin, this was the only place i visited more than once, came here 4 times. Once for cocktails in the evening, the bartenders were having an autumn cocktail competition, was a big fan of the Get Figgy With It. Twice for coffee in the morning, perfect drip coffee. And once for a delicious sandwich. Every experience was lovely and I can’t wait to come back next year. Saved my marriage.

Awesome spot for both day and night! During the day, it’s perfect for coffee and a bite — the cappuccinos are excellent and the sandwiches are huge. In the evening, the tiki bar really shines. The drinks are top-notch (we loved the Dolly Rogers), and the atmosphere is upscale yet inviting. The décor is beautiful, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
