Crema's Take

Belle Surf Cafe & Lounge is a versatile gem that pulls some of Maui's best espresso shots and excels equally at both quiet morning coffee moments and vibrant evening transformations into a buzzing social hub. The kitchen shows real creativity beyond typical cafe fare, with standout savory crepes, acai bowls, and even sushi nights that locals genuinely rave about, all served in a thoughtfully decorated space with comfortable velvet bar seating that feels like an oasis in historic Paia. This place is always a great time. Whether it’s a slow quiet vibe for breakfast and Coffee or a wild night out they turn it into a club.

The dark mocha was really tasty. I had a basic breakfast and it was all pretty tasty. It was nice and quiet when my partner and I went in there. It is counter service style and bus your own table when finished. And the staff was good at wiping down tables and prompt with the food and drinks. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for a good quick calm atmosphere meal. And their menu is full availability despite the time.

In our small sampling of coffee shops on Maui, this was the best pull of espresso by far. The savory crepes were also delicious. The seating was quite comfortable: we chose the velvet bar stools and ate at a raised counter down the middle of the dining area. Service was slow but friendly (I think they were short a person that day).

Went here for Breakfast and Dinner. Great iced caramel macchiato and acai bowls. Sushi night was awesome. Second to best sushi I've ever had! 👌🏻Cocktails here are most preferable to others in Paia.

We were visiting the historic town Paia and spontaneously stopped by for a delicious cup of flat white and an amazingly yummy nutella crêpe. This lovely decorated restaurant is like an oasis. Certainly a must-stop location when visiting Paia and/or driving on the scenic Road to Hana.
