A Cup of Joy Eatery & Play Yard
324 Lee Dr Suite C and D, Baton Rouge, LA
Crema's Take
“This Baton Rouge spot masterfully balances a relaxed, quiet atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends alongside a dedicated play area that keeps little ones happily entertained for hours, making it genuinely family-friendly rather than just tolerating kids. The spacious, inviting setting and thoughtful touches like requiring socks in the play yard show they've intentionally designed the experience around comfort, and you'll find both the barista's care in your drink and the chill vibe worth returning to whether you're meeting friends or needing a peaceful place to work.”

Love to come here to gather with friends. So sweet that the kids have an area to play, making it suitable for families.
We called in July to reserve a private party in December at the Prairieville location. We called numerous times to double check that it was the location and verify the address to put on the invitations. We arrived an hour early to set up for the party at the Prairieville location and it was closed? Like permanently? We called them and they claimed the party was at the Lee location. I know good and well we called at least 3 times to verify it was Prairieville. They never once explained how they messed up this badly. I’m sorry, but good customer service would have been to call your customers to let them know the Prairieville location is closing down and they can no longer host the event. Instead, they decided to not tell us and never once apologized for not letting us know about the location change. Extremely disappointed in this experience. I had to drive out of my way last minute for my child’s party all the way from Prairieville. When we got there, a lady in a pink shirt was very helpful in helping us set up and helped throughout the party, but the lady in the grey didn’t even make eye contact with us and completely ignored us.
10 STARS! My friend and I came here to get out of the cold weather and catch up. Together we have 3 toddlers (12mo-30mo). I cannot recommend this place enough. This atmosphere was great, the menu and their prices are unbeatable, and you can tell they designed this place with little ones in mind. There is ample seating and the play areas are so well maintained and clean. The woman that we saw today (i assume she runs the place and I didnt get a chance to get her name) was beyond sweet and so gracious, which meant a lot to this mom with a 1.5 and 2.5yr old toddlers. She was amazing and so kind. We absolutely loved this place and we cant wait to come back!
Was expecting a lot from this place as it was highly recommended and it’s quite spacious and inviting and the lady who made my drink was nice but the place was full of sick kids! Coughing and runny noses all around which really ruined the experience. Wish they wouldn’t let sick kids into a place like this. Was hoping to finally sit down while letting my child play and enjoy but neither was the case unfortunately. Wouldn’t be in a rush to go back and it’s really geared towards kids from 0-18 months I would say.
This place is actually pretty amazing! I am in love with the chill atmosphere and the quiet vibe that it gives. My kids played for hours and it was exactly clean. Make sure to bring socks. They have a good variety of toys.including a soft area for smaller children. There is also the most adorable book Nook area. They have tons of snacks available for purchase everything is super kid friendly. There’s even a cute flower, backdrop photo op. and a small children’s boutique behind the eating area that has tons of adorable clothes for the littles.
