Crema's Take

Nestled in Kittery, this café attached to a specialty food shop earns serious praise for its Lobster BLT and creative paninis and wraps, with fresh ingredients that keep locals coming back. The real draw is the full experience: beautiful gardens, a well-maintained space perfect for meeting up, and a full breakfast menu that pairs nicely with traditional coffee drinks, though service can be inconsistent. It's a solid pit stop if you're in the area and willing to embrace the deliberate pace of a place that prioritizes quality ingredients over speed.

the service and atmosphere are average. Its well kept and clean. No Christmas deals really. So the store part was disappointing. But.... The Cafe was really good. And the Lobster BLT was awesome. Its wicked big. And enough for 2 people. I didnt pay attention to the price. But I think it was kind of expensive. But with the amount of Lobster. It was definitely worth it.

I ordered a grilled cheese on gluten free bread because I have celiac disease. I ordered and waited at least 45 minutes to get 3 cold slices of cheese on wet bread. I went to the server and asked politely if they could remake it for me. I went to my seat and waited. I could see the chef laughing in the back about my order, not even 2 minutes later she walks out with the same meal and throws it on the table. This is a huge embarrassment for this company because they do make incredible food, it’s just the people working there that need to be changed with real chefs. I was extreamly excited to eat something gluten free because it’s so difficult to find anything good that’s gluten free, so this is a huge let down and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. 0.5 stars out of 5. Something NEEDS to change

I felt kind of lost when I first arrived at this place because there wasn't any obvious location to enter for breakfast so I chose the most obvious location and it wasn't the place. So I listened to quite a few people talking and followed the noise and found the location. The food is your typical breakfast fare for a cafe with single items to grab and go but I choose the country breakfast with your choice of two eggs and protein with hash browns and again your choice of bread. I chose two eggs over easy with a sausage patty and an everything begal. The surprise of the meal was the wild blueberry jam that was placed with my food. Very good and easily an option to buy it afterwards. The place seemed very clean, with large portraits of various items to suit the place well. Very bright and inviting There is also space outside, if the weather permits, to eat and set up your laptop to whatever your hearts desire. I really enjoyed my food and atmosphere with the only downside being where the actual location is to enter and eat. Final bill 23.00

The Lobster BLT is a must!! Worth every penny and incredible fresh every time. Their other offering are also great including their wraps and paninis. Always a great stop if in the area.

Great shop with items that help you out in the kitchen. Love the jams, crackers, glassware. There's a great cafe there - eating inside and outside in good weather. The gardens are stunning! I will add more photos as I find them. I visit everytime I am in the area.
