Mikara Cafe

Mikara Café is an absolute gem. I came in for breakfast and left genuinely impressed by both the food and the hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared, but the real standout for me was the Turkish coffee with pistachio, hands down the best I’ve ever had. Rich, smooth, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. I also tried the kunafa, and it was incredible. It was my first time having kunafa infused with cardamom, and it added a unique and unforgettable twist to a classic dessert. Service was just as impressive as the food. Eliza was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and knowledgeable. She took the time to walk me through the menu and helped me choose exactly what I was in the mood for. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. I highly recommend Mikara Café and will definitely be coming back again.

I got the smoked salmon and avocado toast and the lotus biscoff iced latte with almond milk. The latte was not good .. tasted super watery and the foam on top tasted like regular cream. I mixed the cookie up and the chunks added some flavor but those first few sips were bad. The toast was okay, not super flavorful. Needed some kind of balsamic drizzle or something. Had a lot of arugula which was not on the doordash website… pic attached. So instead of the dill on top it was arugula… probably not coming back. Better buzz or cuppa cuppa is where I’m gonna try next.

Really enjoyed this spot! Visited solo to read/write poetry, got a banana oat latte and a breakfast melt. There's a few seating options (indoor and outdoor), public bathroom, and accessabile outlets. There are smoothies in addition to coffee with sweet and savory options including crepes and acai bowls. The food is breakfast/oriented. Good music. Inside can get a little loud due to the bar set up but it wasnt too bad. Everything tasted great and I overheard the barista explain that they dont use a lot of syrups and they try to use natural flavors. Example, my latte had banana pieces in it. Also, the customer service was good. The barista brought people their orders and was very friendly and patient. I also really appreciate the green additions in the space.

Delightful coffee shop! Checked out this coffee shop this morning. We ordered the oat milk cinnamon latte and iced Turkish pistachio latte. Both were delicious. The barista warned me that the oat milk cinnamon latte was not sweet and offered to sweetened the latte for me. I opted not to sweetened it. After tasting the latte, I decided that it needed the sweetener and she was kind enough to add some to my beverage. The cafe had plenty of sitting inside and outside. They had food to order but we didn’t try any this time. They also had games for their patrons to enjoy. Really cute spot and will have to return to try more options.

Decided to try something new and I had such a great experience here. The barista was so kind and helpful with recommendations. The coffee shop was extremely clean and spacious great for anybody who would like a quiet spot to get some work or school done. They have such a great menu selection and the coffee is amazing. I would recommend this place 100 times if you’re in the area definitely stop by.
