Crema's Take

Shahs of Kabob brings vibrant Afghan and Middle Eastern flavors to Wynwood with kebabs and grilled specialties that arrive beautifully plated and bursting with authentic taste, though the experience can feel a bit rushed depending on when you visit. What really sets this spot apart are the exceptional house-made desserts and cakes — rich, creative, and decidedly not an afterthought — making it perfect for lingering over coffee and sweets with friends or family. The generous portions and casual atmosphere work well for unhurried meetings, though those seeking fine dining polish might find the service and setting a touch uneven.

This place can be much better. The service was rushed as the host kept telling us to hold on and slow down as he was lacking customer hospitality. The food was good but not great and the prices are a bit much. The location is great in Wynwood, but the venue inside is a bit lacking on ambiance

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food is vibrant, fresh, and beautifully prepared! Each dish packed with authentic flavor and clearly made with care. The service is truly outstanding: warm, attentive, and perfectly timed without ever feeling intrusive. The recommendations were top-tier ! Every detail, from the presentation to the atmosphere, elevates the meal. A must try for anyone who appreciates delicious food and genuine hospitality! We will definitely be coming back!

This place is average in terms of food taste. The portions are large, and the kebab was juicy. However, you can usually tell the quality of koobideh by whether it leaves you feeling heavy afterward, and the kebab here was quite fatty. Overall, I think the place is decent.

Excellent food! Atmosphere can be improved for a more fine dining experience. Try their joujeh (grilled chicken) and their barg sultani (filet mignon and mixed meat kabob). Amazing. Cakes are sold by a separate company and can get pricey ($11-17 per slice) but are very delicious. All halal.

Shahs of Kabob in Wynwood doesn’t just shine with its savory dishes — the desserts are next level. The cakes and sweets here are absolutely insane — rich, creative, and bursting with authentic Middle Eastern flair. Each slice feels like a celebration, with layers of bold flavor and perfect sweetness that balance beautifully after a hearty meal. Whether it’s their pistachio cake, baklava-inspired desserts, or other decadent creations, everything tastes freshly made and thoughtfully crafted. It’s rare to find a spot where the desserts steal the spotlight, but Shahs of Kabob pulls it off effortlessly. Don’t leave without trying one!
