Faire Market & Cafe

Crema's Take
“Faire Market & Cafe is a thoughtfully designed escape in Wilmington where creative, espresso-forward drinks like strawberry thyme matcha and orange burnt honey latte share the spotlight with excellent light fare and genuinely good coffee that rivals anything from major chains. The space itself feels like a secret—intimate yet surprisingly spacious, with charming details like hanging swing seats and an uncommonly diverse seating arrangement that makes it equally welcoming whether you're flying solo with your laptop or gathering with friends. It's the kind of place where both the drinks and the design philosophy feel intentional and fresh, making it worth seeking out.”

Stopped in for the first time. Nice quiet cafe with aesthetically pleasing furniture, ordered a strawberry thyme matcha and an orange burnt honey latte. Both drinks allowed for the coffee and matcha to be tasted and not subdued which was nice. The salmon toast and vegan breakfast sandwich were delicious.
A hidden little gem of a coffee shop. The space has a charming, thoughtful design with cozy hanging swing seats along the bar and warm lighting that makes it feel inviting and relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you want to slow down, enjoy your coffee, and stay a little longer. Stylish, unique, and quietly delightful.
Looks small on the outside but mighty big and aesthetically pleasing on the inside! Accomodates different group sizes and is the first cafe that has 4 different kinds of chairs...one of them is a swing! What's adorable is they have little chairs for kids and a small setup. Whimsically appointed in a fresh and clean style. Riverside and Kalmar sandwiches were both top notch, as was, surprisingly, the plain toasted bagel. Got a butterfly lemonade (very flavorful) and 3 lattes: Chocolate Cherry, Brown Butter Maple, and an iced matcha which was exceptional. The key downside which makes me deduct a star is that they appeared to be pretty unprepared for the volume of customers; now, mind you, that's not always cause for me to dock a point, but TBH the place wasn't packed. Our food took a VERY long time to come, and the Kalmar and bagel both got a bit lost in the shuffle. They were out of plates; the utensils area was out of napkins. Maybe it was just an off day. It's happens, and I will certainly make an effort to stop in again.
The drinks here are always innovative and new! I love trying the different flavors! The espresso is sooooo much better than any general coffee franchise you can think of! Fair is decorated beautifully and there was even a little table with a tea set there for kiddos. The bathroom smelled so good and was very clean. Blake made my drink the last time I was there and they were incredibly informative on each individual item and beverage. They apparently even had a hand in designing some of the drink options. Blake made a lovely latte and served it with a smile! 10/10 reccomend!
