Crema's Take
“Mike and his team have created a neighborhood gem that masters both the art and the hospitality of specialty coffee—whether you're grabbing a quick cup or settling in for a slow sit, you'll experience thoughtfully crafted drinks featuring their own roasts alongside quality beans like Paco's, with staff who genuinely know their craft and love sharing it. The espresso-focused menu shines in unexpected ways, from traditional preparations to creative signatures like the iced maple latte, with reviewers raving about the allspice and cinnamon notes that hint at the care going into every cup. This is the kind of place where the owner will surprise you with something beautiful if you ask, and where the inviting bar-side space makes lingering feel natural.”

My first visit, and asked Mike, the owner, to surprise me. He presented this beautiful beverage with hints of allspice, cinnamon, and clove. Worth the drive! Can't wait to come back.
I had a fantastic time at my first visit. As someone who’s always on the lookout for a quick and delicious coffee spot, this place has quickly become my favorite. They roast their own coffee beans inside the cafe and sell them as “Paco’s Coffee.” I ordered a caffe latte, and it was absolutely perfect. The ambiance was simply lovely, with great music, cozy bar stools, and charming brick walls and tables. The owner, Brandon, told me that they opened this cafe about five months ago, and I was missing out on this gem. The prices are very reasonable, and they also sell delicious pastries and bread ( only on Tuesdays and Thursdays ) from 1748 Bake House in Springfield. If you love good coffee, you should try it!
Loved this place and so happy they’re in the neighborhood!!! The coffee is delicious (they carry Paco’s) although the menu is pretty traditional, it’s all extremely good quality. The roaster is front and center in the shop, which is a fun experience. The atmosphere and vibe are top notch. The light from the large front window makes the interior space so cozy. Seating isn’t extensive, but bar seating is an option or there are two small tables if you want to hang out. We got to enjoy baked goodies from 1748 on Tuesday! And they also have gorgeous plants featured.
Had the pleasure of going to this great addition to the neighborhood. Brandon is so knowledgeable and nice, he has a passion for quality and has created such a cool vibe for Parkwood. The iced maple latte was absolute perfection. The beans have an outstanding aromatic flavor. They get 1748 bakehouse pastries Tuesdays and Thursdays. Looking forward to seeing the expansion coming in the future. This place is a must visit if you're a true coffee enthusiast.
Genuinely the most delicious iced coffee I've had all year - clearly made with super freshly roasted beans! The staff was very friendly, and space is really cute. There are a few chairs at the bar, one couch, and an individual chair or two - however, the space seems more optimized for their coffee roasting (which is awesome) than it is for groups of people to stay and hangout. Nonetheless, the coffee was amazing and the staff and space were great. Also, prices were extremely reasonable! Probably easier to park around back or on the street, as the parking up front is very limited.
