Joe & The Juice

1801 Central St, Evanston, IL

Crema's Take

This Evanston spot nails the vibe with design that feels more like stepping into a high-end home goods showroom than a casual juice bar, making it perfect for lingering over a coffee or matcha. The real standout here is their creative juice program—the "Feel Good" and "Lavender Matcha" are genuinely worth the visit—though the sandwich execution seems inconsistent, so stick to what they do best: specialty drinks that actually deliver. It's a beautiful space to meet a friend or work for a while, just go in with expectations calibrated toward their beverages rather than the food.

I wouldn't order here unless you pick it up yourself. I ordered a sandwich (The fat joe) and I got no avocado and somebody added pickles, which isn't part of the sandwich. You pay 15$ for ONE sandwich and it's wrong. I'll never be ordering here again unless I pick up in person. There's no phone number to even contact that establishment either. Not happy. People pay way too much for mistakes and there's not even a way to contact them.

Im sorry to say this but their tuna sandwich’s I can make at home for way less, the only difference is the type of bread they use. However the juices are very good, my favorite is the feel good.

Stopped in here unexpectedly during a thunderstorm and had a delicious lavender matcha. And then had a second one, along with an avocado sandwich with vegan pesto. Both were delicious. I love the skinny toasted bread.

Decided to pop in on a warm day in the pre-spring season and grabbed a feel good juice and tunacado….i don’t know what I expected from this sandwich, but it exceeded my expectations and then some. The bread is the perfect thickness and crunch, it’s like a panini but not at the same time. Definitely try a sandwich while you’re there! I’ve also had the herb tonic juice and that was delish too.

I’ve been to many locations around the world and even though this location opened 2 months ago, they look like a RH or Arhaus inside. The decor, and ambience are impeccable. Food and drinks were better than what I’ve experienced at other locations! Employees could use a smile on their face but were friendly! Love the new eggcado sandwich and the spicy tunacado! I love getting wellness shots so had those too. A++ for it being made in front of me!
