Yolk - Sundance Square

Crema's Take
“Nestled in downtown Fort Worth's Sundance Square, this all-day breakfast spot has earned a devoted following for its creative coffee drinks like the beloved horchata cold brew and generous, thoughtfully-prepared breakfast plates that arrive with attentive service and fair prices. It's the kind of place where you can linger over a well-filled coffee cup and quality food without the pretension, making it equally suited for a solo morning ritual or a leisurely family brunch before the crowds roll in.”

The horchata cold brew was sooo good. I just wish they had an almond milk version for the lactose intolerant folks like me. My breakfast burrito was yummy and so were the sauces. The hash browns were different than what I expected, they were okay.
Brunch here is SO good! Easy walk if you’re staying in downtown Fort Worth. Prices are good, generally no major wait, and good breakfast drinks.
The food was very good, and our waiter was extremely attentive, making sure our coffee cups were always filled. The prices are very fair, and the portion sizes are generous. We first visited this restaurant in September 2020, the morning after our wedding, with a few family members. We were happy to see that they’ve expanded the space and that the food is just as good as we remembered. If you’re in downtown Fort Worth, be sure to stop by and give them a try.
I went here in 2022 and had an amazing breakfast. I came in 2025 and the quality of the food has absolutely plummeted. I got the exact same dish as before and was extremely disappointed. I spent the past 3 years hyping this place up to my friends and family and was completely embarrassed when my friends’ hash browns weren’t even cooked all the way. I got the cinnamon roll French toast and the photos will do all the talking from here. SHAME!
Yolk has a great variety of breakfast items, and it’s an awesome spot to start your weekend. We went on a Saturday morning around 8:00, and it wasn’t very crowded yet—perfect timing! By the time we left, though, there was a line of people waiting to come in, so arriving early is definitely a good idea. The mimosas were tasty, a little on the sweeter side, but made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, which was a nice touch. I ordered the avocado toast, and I would absolutely order it again—fresh, flavorful, and filling. There’s also a nice patio outside for anyone who enjoys dining outdoors. Overall, a great breakfast spot in the heart of Sundance Square!
