Crema's Take

Tucked into downtown Casper, this cafe has earned its reputation as a beloved breakfast and brunch destination where the bacon is legendarily crispy and the homemade burgers like the Shale Shaker keep people coming back. The recent move to a new location brought improved service and a warmer, more welcoming atmosphere that regulars and first-timers alike appreciate, making it an ideal spot to linger over coffee and pastries with friends or family. Their traditional menu, executed with genuine care in the kitchen, transforms this into the kind of neighborhood gathering place where the staff remembers you and the food always feels made with pride.

The food has always been amazing. When they were at their original location, the service was not always the greatest, but since moving to their new location and adding some staff, the service has been on point every time we have gone. Staff is friendly, kitchen is quick, and my coffee cup rarely gets below half before it gets topped off. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the Casper area, highly recommend.

It’s the place for breakfast! We enjoy the food and the bacon is so good! The wait staff are always welcoming and happy to serve us. Next time we’re trying something new while dining there. On the way out yesterday we noticed a pie case with sour cream raisin pie! One of our favorites. We’ll definitely be returning! 😃

I used to love this place, but my last few visits (both at the old location and at the new location) have been disappointing. This time, the service was slow and not very friendly, and the food was far worse than in the past. The sausage gravy had almost zero sausage in it, and the hash browns had such an odd taste that it made me look to see if the cook was smoking while making the food. The tabe was on a slant, so uneven and unleveled that it felt uncomfortable sitting there. Overall, this place has fallen from being my first choice for breakfast to now being a place I'll only go if better restaurants like Eggingtons and Sherry's Place are too busy to get a table.
