Crema's Take
“This unassuming Lowcountry gem nails the art of the Southern breakfast with house-made biscuits so fluffy and buttery they rival grandma's, anchoring generous platters of country-fried steak, perfectly cooked eggs, and creamy cheesy grits. The counter service moves smoothly, the staff genuinely welcomes regulars and first-timers alike, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it the kind of place where you linger over coffee and conversation rather than rush through. It's clear why folks keep coming back—Millstone delivers authentic, comforting food made with real care in a space that feels like home.”

Biscuits are excellent. Smooth and easy ordering process at the counter. Nice atmosphere and very good food.
First time here and we will definitely be back. I had the country-fried steak with eggs and cheese on a biscuit and my friend ordered two eggs, bacon and a biscuit. We both had sides of cheesy grits with bacon mixed in—everything was delicious. The service was great, and the food was excellent. We’ll definitely be returning soon.
Fantastic little spot for a good breakfast. Friendly staff. Atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Food was great
The most perfectly executed Appalachian breakfast platter I’ve ever had. Food was outstanding. Mile-high fluffy, house made biscuits were the best I’ve had since grandma’s. The waitress brought out some honey and told me to try it on top and that took it to the next level. Their sausage gravy was to die for. I’d eat this all over again. And again. Service was warm, friendly, with a personal touch. Every single employee had a smile and a thoughtful conversation ready to go. That made the meal here even better. The owner is all hands on deck and kills it on the griddle. Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast or lunch. You’ll make it a daily occasion!
OMG. The biscuits here are soooo delicious! Their name holds up to their product. 🙌🏽 I had some special help from a lovely lady working there and she taught me how to make my own ice coffee too. Very unique experience, I loved it! We tried their dessert and it was okay. Needed something more. Nonetheless, you have to come try this place out for breakfasts one day! And don’t forget your iced coffee. 😎
