Crema's Take

Civil Pour Coffee + Beer is a bustling Dallas hangout where specialty coffee drinks and creative latte art take center stage, anchored by an espresso program that clearly gets serious attention from the team. The spacious interior strikes that sweet spot between a quick caffeine stop and a proper third place—it's where you'll find laptop warriors, friend groups, and casual work meetings all coexisting comfortably, though expect a relaxed pace that honors the craft rather than a drive-through speed. There's a distinctive dual identity here with beer on tap alongside the coffee, and while food is more casual affair than standout, the warm vibe and genuine engagement from staff make it feel like a place where you're meant to linger.

What to expect

Espresso-focused. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Light food on the menu.

I have visited Civil Pour Coffee + Beer multiple times. It can get very crowded during the day as many people use it as their WFH getaway. They typically have a wide variety of coffee, beer, and pastry options.

I really like the vibe of this cafe. They have good coffee (and cute latte art), simple food options and big enough inside sitting area where you can meet with friends, have a casual work meeting, take your laptop and work or simply enjoy a cup of coffee. I find it a little…

The drip coffee was great, but food subpar. This is a pic of my avocado Swiss with added turkey. The fact that avocado is in the name of the sandwich is atrocious. There’s the equivalent of one SLICE of avocado on the entire sandwich. Go for coffee only. No to the food.

I hate it when I forget to finish a review before I leave. I was so upset I quickly did the bare minimum before just to have placeholder. Let me try and remember this and share more details. This was my first time visiting and I loved the vibe of the place right out the gate.…
