Adam and Eve Cafe

Crema's Take
“Nestled in Vestavia Hills, this beloved spot has mastered the art of accommodating everyone with thoughtful vegan options, creative specialty drinks, and pastries that deserve their own fan club—like those legendary Dubai chocolate creations and that sauce-worthy Italiano Panini. The inviting atmosphere makes it equally suited for a solo coffee contemplation or bringing a group of twelve, and the team clearly takes care with customizations, even for dietary restrictions. It's the kind of neighborhood gem where "fresh" isn't just a word people use, it's what you actually taste in every bite and sip.”

This is a great place with so many options from coffee and smoothies to sandwich’s and pastries. Several vegan options for food and dessert! We had the fancy seitan and the dungeon sandwich, both were super good. Highly recommend. Also the hummus was 10/10. We had the vegan strawberry and vanilla cake slices, perfection. It’s nice to have a local place with variety and vegan options.
My first experience at Adam & Eve Cafe was quite enjoyable. I’m not sure if they have free WiFi because I wasn’t able to dine in on this trip. The atmosphere is very inviting. I really wanted to hang out. I ordered the Spicy Italian vegan sandwich. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was pretty good. Now the vegan red velvet cake… CLAWD HAMMERCY!!! I ain’t gonna lie. When I saw the price I was like what the glen flam shenanigans is going on here. $7.29 for a slice of cake. But then I took that bite and let me tell you…. That slice of cake was worth every bit of the $7.29. And these jokers had the audacity to serve it WARM!!! Where they do that at?! Had my tastebuds in a full blown nutcracker performance. Hahaaaa Anywho, that cake gave my tastebuds every bit of life they needed.
Everything was fresh we came in with a group of 12. We didn't like the cheesecake but it was vegan. I ordered the Italiano Panini the sauce that it comes with was amazeballs I wanted a whole cup of it. Ordered but not pictured was the Blazer Acai Bowl very fresh and a good size. The Get Up & Go smoothie was also very fresh and balanced not too sweet. The Dubai croissant was decadent I didn't try it but everyone loved them.
I had an incredible experience at Adam and Eve Cafe in Five Points South! This Birmingham gem is now my go-to spot. I tried the Dubai chocolate crepe, Dubai chocolate pistachio filled croissant, tiramisu, and Yemeni tea, and everything was phenomenal. The Dubai chocolate crepe is a MUST-GET, absolutely a 10/10. The Yemeni tea was perfect with just the right balance of milk, tea, and sugar, sweet but not overpowering. The staff was super friendly and helpful, delivering 10/10 customer service that made me feel so welcome. The cafe’s interior is cozy and stylish with plenty of seating, making it ideal for family outings or hanging out with friends. I’m excited to return for their coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches. Adam and Eve Cafe is a must-visit in Birmingham, a true local treasure!
Found this place while looking for vegetarian breakfast and I'm glad I did! I ordered the Adam and Eve lox with a bunch of alterations because I'm allergic to tomato and don't like the texture of salmon, they were fine to accommodate me and even gave a good recommendation for what to try next time! My pistachio latte was almost as amazing as the sammich. I tried the first half of it as is and it was really fresh and a lovely blend of flavours. I added salt and pepper to the second half and it was AMAZING. If your health and taste preferences allow, I strongly recommend taking advantage of the salt and pepper packets they provide. I hope the owners don't see this and start adding more salt and pepper to the recipes though, as I know a lot of folks who eat vegan have health issues. I appreciate that salt and pepper are an option. I noticed after ordering that they have a large selection of syrups that aren't advertised. I went to get a picture and the barista saw me and offered to do it for me 💚 so sweet (pun gloriously intended) While waiting on my order, I read reviews and Lord willing I do plan to return at different times to order other things and see if my feelings change.
