Crema's Take

This relaxed Middle Eastern spot in Huntington Beach has carved out a genuine neighborhood gathering place, where the owner Kamal genuinely knows his regulars and creates a welcoming vibe for everyone from card-playing friends to first-time visitors. The classic coffee and tea pair beautifully with carefully prepared traditional dishes like their praised shawarma and hummus, all enjoyed in a comfortable outdoor setting that feels unhurried and unpretentious. It's the kind of place where you can settle in for hours without pressure, though fair warning—service quality seems to depend heavily on the owner's mood.

Great place to sit outdoors grab a bite, and hang with friends. The owner is welcoming and you see a core group of regular customers there. The food is middle eastern, prepared well and with care. I enjoy the chicken platter.

The worst hookah place I have ever been At first you think the owner/ waiter is very nice but wait until something went wrong… he look at me like a nut that why I’m complaining about burn tobacoo taste, he was that much rude that I want to leave immediately, the hookah was awful the chair and table were disgusting I asked hime if baklava is fresh he said yesterday but I can assure you it was 4 days old on top of a tissue paper that stocks to it It was complete disaster And usually when I see local owner cafe Even if it is bad I wouldn’t put bad reviews but this man need to be aware of how much he is rude and unprofessional

Kamal was extremely friendly and welcoming. First time here, happened to be driving by. I had looked up "hookah lounge" and this establishment popped up. Great hummus with pita bread, salad, chicken with rice, yummy tea, and hookah was amazing! Definitely returning here and the prices are extremely reasonable. Thanks again for the wonderful experience
