Crema's Take

This hidden gem in Santa Fe has mastered the art of the scone with creative, carefully-baked varieties that go far beyond the traditional—think hatch green chile and cheddar alongside sweet options that locals rave about. The intimate space and generous staff (Melissa gets special mentions!) create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where they'll happily let you sample before you buy, making it easy to walk out with an assortment that becomes an instant favorite. It's a small, sometimes hard-to-find spot that does one thing exceptionally well, making it a must-stop for anyone passing through Santa Fe with a taste for exceptional pastries.

Very tasty scones. They offer samples of anything in the case, and I ended up buying an assortment. The green chile cheese scone might be my favorite out of the bunch. It still has the classic scone glaze so you get this really nice sweet and savory flavor, but the lemon blueberry is also really good.

Check out the Santa Fe Sconery is the best. Very good scones, they have many varieties and love the crostini. Melissa is awesome!

We stumbled upon this place while walking by and grabbed a couple of scones to go - one savory and one sweet. Both scones were amazing! The savory was a hatch green chile and cheddar combo and the sweet was blueberries and lemon. The hatch was the right amount of spice and the blueberries were fresh and messy as you broke apart the scone. Both scones were moist, which is a must.

A small space (as others have noted, it can be hard to find) that does one thing and does it really well. Mind that these aren't the cylindrical scones of the traditional British sort, but the American interpretation. Fresh and delicious with both "standard" and more creative flavors. The apricot rosemary was truly lovely!

I bought three kinds of scones (one savory and two sweet). Each one was carefully baked, very fresh, and absolutely delicious. If you stop by Santa Fe, I highly recommend visiting this place. The booth is small and a little hard to find, so look for the sign outside and step in!
