Crema's Take

Nestled within the Islamic Society of Orange County, Barakah Cafe is a welcoming community hub that seamlessly blends thoughtfully crafted espresso drinks with a genuine neighborhood vibe. Their specialty beverages—like a beautifully balanced churro latte and chai that satisfies both traditional and modern palates—shine without overshadowing the coffee itself, while freshly baked pastries warmed to order add an extra touch of care. The open, casual interior and attentive staff make it the kind of place where you can linger after prayer or a long day, whether you're meeting friends or enjoying a quiet moment with your cup.

Their drinks are deliciously made. I ordered a churro latte that was rich and flavorful. Not overly sweet to the point where I cannot taste the caffeine. But wow…Customer service here needs some serious work to be done. Baristas do not greet you or smile. It felt unwelcoming and awkward. Please train your baristas to acknowledge people so first-time customers feel comfortable asking questions instead of feeling intimidated.

1. The coffee was well-crafted! I like how they asked to warm up the baked pastry! 2. The spot has chill casual vibes! The interior is very open! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready in about 10 mins! Note: This cafe is part of a mosque! They were welcoming! Photo: Neroli Slice and Salted Caramel Shaken Espresso

I get a cake slice after taraweeh every now and then and it is always perfectly moist, sweet and most importantly fresh! Chai is very good for my desi taste. The caramel latte with oatmilk was a hit with my wife. I liked the half sweet mocha. Definitely quality coffee and baristas.
