Moke's Coffee & Kitchen

Crema's Take

Moke's is a welcoming neighborhood spot in Eugene that balances solid espresso drinks with a surprisingly strong breakfast and sandwich program, particularly their standout breakfast tacos that locals rave about. While the coffee itself tends toward "fine" rather than exceptional, the real draw is the full kitchen execution paired with genuinely attentive service and convenient parking—making it feel more like a reliable all-day refuge than a coffee destination alone. The kitchen shows thoughtful touches like house-made sauces and vegan options, though some reviewers note the flavors could use a bit more boldness to match the friendly, unhurried vibe.

I got the Weird Al sandwich and it was fine. But had like no flavor. The bread was pretty plain. Not grilled in butter or anything. The pesto aoli wasn't very flavorful, it just tasted like a slightly better mayonnaise. The whole sandwich tasted like something an older person would eat. I got and iced latte and all of the ice was melted when they handed it to me so it was very watered down. I asked for a few extra shots in it and it was still very weak. The coffee was almost as much as the sandwich and I wish I would have just saved my money and went to a different coffee shop for coffee.

Glad they joined the Vegan Chef Challenge 2026! Their RBG was simple but pretty tasty and worth the price.

The service here was fantastic. The breakfast tacos were delicious and some of the best I’ve had in the NW (they haven’t caught on here for some reason). The coffee was fine. Nothing to write home about, but the place is great.

There is parking in the back which helps a lot with its location. More than one vegan option which is great! The vegan items I purchased were good but lacking some flavor. The price for it was decent though especially the taco which was actually quite filling and large. Atmosphere was okay and chill for a brunch time but I would suggest not looking up at the vents. They have mystery fluid sprayed out of them and all over the wall next to it - luckily it didn’t seem this way in the kitchen itself but kept me wondering. Lovely patio area to enjoy the food at instead.

Service was top notch! Had my sandwich and chai brought out to my table. The chai wasn’t as spicy but still good! The egg sandwich had this yummy sauce. highly recommend! The music was a little too loud, especially when it got busy so I recommend bringing headphones while studying.
