Crema's Take

Meraki Coffee has genuinely earned its reputation as Eugene's standout café, consistently delivering excellent espresso drinks alongside creative specialties like their notably exceptional chai tea. The recently expanded space strikes that rare balance between cozy and spacious—ideal whether you're settling in for hours with your laptop or grabbing a quick pastry and coffee—though their supplies do move quickly during morning rushes. Beyond the reliable coffee, what keeps people coming back is the thoughtful food program that goes beyond typical café fare, with avocado toast and an expanding breakfast menu that feels like genuine kitchen care rather than an afterthought.

Meraki Cafe is doing things right. Really good coffee, consistently. The space is welcoming and has expanded recently. The food menu keeps growing. I’d love to see an egg-based option and a bit less emphasis on sweet/cake/bread items. The lox on toast is excellent, and the avocado toast is solid. Easy place to return to again and again.

You heard it here first: Meraki is the best coffee shop in Eugene, OR. Fantastic coffee, friendly staff, and plenty of spacious seating—perfect for a casual cup or a study session. The room is bright, inviting, and full of good vibes. Street parking is available, which is always a plus. This place is a hit. Thank me later.

Beautiful cafe and delicious beans and menu. I had the avocado toast. There are plenty of places to sit inside or outside. My main concern was that they run out of supplies so early in the morning. We arrived one morning before 9a and they had just run out of supplies for their Saturday Morning Latte (SML) that I wanted to try. Better planning could prevent that.

Going to my top 3 breakfast spots! Glad to see the hype is reflected in their flavor 🙌. My chai tea was … the best I’ve had in a looong time 👏🥹. Flavor was perfect and presentation unique! Avocado toast was very yummy. Very glad to see they did not go easy on the avocado! 👍😉 Last but not least my favorite of all was the lox toast! 😍🤤🥹… it was superb! For those who don’t like arugula, cilantro is the perfect substitute 😌

Solid 4. Coffee was good. The staff seemed indifferent. Definitely not even close to service industry kind. They had maybe 4 pastries in the case. I recommend the salted caramel latte. Parking is a bit of an inconvenience but there is plenty of seating inside and outside.
