Crema's Take

Yuki's Coffee & Bakery is a warmly welcoming neighborhood spot where excellent espresso drinks meet genuinely transformative baked goods, particularly their house-made pitas that locals swear rival authentic Jerusalem bakeries. The cozy atmosphere and genuinely attentive staff make it feel like a genuine community gathering place rather than just a coffee run, whether you're grabbing a quick cappuccino between errands or settling in for a slower morning. It's the kind of place that's earned its devoted following through honest quality—pastries on par with Manhattan's best and coffee that tastes like someone actually cares about what's in your cup.

I work 2 doors down on Friday so I wanted a cappuccino and walked in. The place is warm and cozy, the service was great and the staff made me feel welcome. The cappuccino was excellent and the presentation was the same. I also had a piece of zucchini bread that was very good. I will return here for sure!

Yuki’s Bakery is often crowded, and there is a reason for it, it is good. the pita is life changing. Once you have it, you truly cannot go back to store bought pita. We eat it nearly every morning, toasted with butter or cream cheese. Their croissants are also delicious. My spouse loves an almond croissant. They even have pistachio, sometimes they have this delicious spinach pie. Great place to stop and bring cookies for a gathering if you want them to feel home made.

This local gem is an absolute must-visit. The service is fast, polite, and attentive, but the food is the main event: Pitas: Genuinely as good as, if not better than, authentic bakeries in Jerusalem. Babkas: Divine. The flavors rotate (think triple chocolate, pumpkin, you name it!). Cakes: Awesome. The Israeli cheesecake took me right back to the best cafes in Tel Aviv. Rougaleh: Absolutely to die for! You will not be disappointed.

The kind of bakery we need more of in NJ. The quality of pastries to me is on par with some of my favourite manhattan bakeries (yes, I can travel that far for food). The items I tried and recommend: pistachio croissant (my favourite), chocolate bundt, iced coffee.

Located close to the 9th st light rail station, this is an Israeli cafe place which is hardly 2 blocks away. The cafe seems to be bustling in the morning with a huge footfall of customers whereas the staff are pretty efficient to keep up with the waiting line. The staff I must say are one of the friendliest ones I have come across here, be it with greeting their customer along with properly delivering the order with good etiquettes. I ordered Mocha and pistachio croissants and both were good. The Mocha though wasn't hot as expected but it had a great chocolate flavor to it. The pistachio croissant is something I tried for the first time, it was a bit sweeter than expected but was a pretty interesting one! The flavor of the pistachio was delicious too. I'll be happy to come here often and try out more of their products as they seem to be served pretty fresh!
